The family who own this hotel take great pride in the setting and the quality of service. Over the years my sisters, mother and father in law, and a variety of guests have stayed with
Alberto and they have always been very pleased. Campitelli is a favorite with people in the area as an ideal place to have a reception. You may be lucky enough to be in the hotel when one of these splendid events take place. I'm willing to bet that you will be pleasantly surprised by the amenities, including a beautiful pool and an elegant garden. You're only steps away from the remains of a first century AD amphitheatre and a short drive from the medieval center of Larino with its world-famous gothic cathedral and ducal palace. Larino, itself, has a wonderful museum and the largest intact "centro storico" in all of Molise. You'll enjoy your stay in what I called "authentic Italy".

Recently spent 4 nights here and felt like an unwelcome guest. I ate in the restaurant the first night and waited nearly an hour for my pasta, which when it arrived was not what I had ordered. The pasta was actually quite good but the service was so grudging that as a solo traveller, I felt quite uncomfortable.Luckily there are two supermarkets close by as otherwise , if you are without transport, you are stuck for food.
Breakfast was very limited and was served in the main restaurant in semi-darkness.The first morning there was fresh bread and a croissant but after this there was no fresh bread.
On a positive note, the hotel has free wifi ( if you sit in reception) and sky Tv. They will also pick you up from the station if you call first.Rooms are clean and spacious.Supposedly a non-smoking hotel but the proprietors smoke in the reception area.
