Hydro Restobar is an excellent place to go with friends and family. It has a wide variety of dishes for all tastes and the staff is very friendly, which ensures that you'll definitely have a great time during your visit.

The food and drinks are simply delicious. During my visits to Hydro Restobar, I’ve tried sushis, ceviches, burgers and quesadillas, as well as all the sours on the menu. In every bite and sip, I found a unique taste. For example, Piperoll is a sushi with a smokey and spicey taste that opens the senses and lets you fully enjoy its highly distinctive flavor. Even the rice is different than any other sushi I've tried so far, as it's sticky enough to keep it together but loosen enough to dissolve itself exquisitely in your mouth. The ceviches are addictive too. Perfectly spiced with sesame oil and lemon, the salmon cubes and vegetables seem to disappear in your mouth leaving a fresh taste that prompts you to take another bite. As for the drinks, my favourites are the Mango Sour and Raspberry Sour. Sweet, fresh and consistent, both will delight you.
In summary, Hydro has a wide variety of food and drinks at a reasonable price and a great service. Definitely worth visiting ;).

We found Hydro on Trip Advisor, and stopped our our way through San Fernando. The TA reviews were spot on -- excellent sushi, ceviche (several types, all that we saw or tried were beautiful and tasty), french fries, sandwiches, burgers, and even some mexican food (we had the tacos). They even threw in a free caramel crepe for dessert because it was mothers' day.

They serve beer, wine, piscos, the regular soft drinks, and they make some good espresso drinks.

The staff is friendly and efficient. The owner helped us the first time -- he speaks excellent English. The next time our waiter spoke only Spanish, but he was very patient with our bad Spanish!! =)

We liked it so much we made a point of stopping again for lunch our our way back through town a few days later.

Hope in the wall that meets all expectations. The ceviche and sushi are as great. Be mindful when ordering sushi that they like putting cream cheese in everything! Not sure why... also, as with all Chilean, don't expect anything spicy unless you specifically ask for it.

Also, probably not advertised but you can BYOB, FYI ;)

We were looking for something different and read somewhere that this was a combo sushi/Mexican restaurant. It seemed more of a cafe or club than a restaurant, but the food was excellent. We ordered a Caesar salad with salmon; it didn't look like a typical Caesar but it was absolutely delicious and the dressing was unique, a little spicy and fantastic. We also ordered a spicy salmon roll and chicken quesadilla. It's tricky ordering sushi since you want to know that the fish is very fresh and it was delicious! My husband said his chicken quesadilla was very good. I'm not a drinker but they have a full bar and even gave my husband a complimentary pisco sour after ordered the first one.
Great meal, great service, so-so ambience. The place doesn't open until 7pm though, despite what guidebooks might say.
