We stay here normally June and September each year. The toilet and shower block are kept beautifully clean. No hassle dog friendly. Easy waste disposal near entrance. Close to Paignton Torquay Brixham Dartmouth Teignmouth and many more beautiful places. We love it here Thank you.

we stayed in a tent pitch with electric no ,tv ariel is the only downside but manage with a small portable one beware !!! do not follow sat nav as it does state we did follow sat nav and had a trailer phew awfull and if towing a caravan i dread to think !! but once there lovely site showers clean have to keep pressing button for more water which is a bit of a bind but only a minor point, nothing for children to do so i wouldnt go with my grandchildren overal lovely quiet , tidy clean site near paignton , totnes and a must is a walk into stoke gabriel and down a little steep lane to where the river is with a lovely little cafe, ohh a a big plus is the pitches are super big not cramped up

I wanted to say it was aweful but only to keep the site to ourselves!!

It's a simple site thats well equiped, it has a shop with honest prices, sells it own cider, and is what every other site should be.

I never talk about cleanliness in reviews because a campsite never sets out to be dirty, it's the people that use the facilites that make them that way however they were clean and treated with respect.

When you arrive you'll take one look and wonder where the flat pitches are but they are all pretty good. If I could change anything about this site it would be an additional water point. Roger, the owner and gis wife and sister in law are all really helpful and will point you in the right direction. Make sure you visit stoke Gabrielle, a 30 minute walk with young children you can see the river dart and do some crabbing. Mind the prices of the food hut though ;-)

This site is quite sloping and despite booking a pitch number in advance you can’t guarantee it will be available when you arrive. Site is very peaceful, no traffic noise at all and there is a very pleasant walk to Stoke Gabriel which is a very pretty village. However if you are towing the last part of your journey will be very scary, a very narrow Devon lane. Site neat and tidy and well cared for.

Very disappointed not to have received a reply to our email asking for the campsite to honour its offer to credit us with nights for an alternative date after we had to cancel due to an medical emergency with a relative.
We have not requested a refund, just a credit for nights that the pitch was able to be rebooked.
