Very comfortable and relaxed olde,Worlde B and B with welcoming hostess. Parking on the property and a hearty full breakfast. Was there on my own for an overnight stay and had a twin bedded room with private shower and toilet. TV with multi-channels. On key for direct access. Excellent supper at the village pub.

This property is a delightful thatched cottage which is grade 2 listed and full of original features. We had the twin room which is larger than the double and we were able to use the entrance hall as a second room plus the ensuite. Breakfast was excellent and we also got a good packed lunch for our walk. We stayed here 2 nights and found it very comfortable, warm and enjoyed the hospitality of Roy and Brenda. We were also able to leave our car here whilst we walked the Peddars way and the North Norfolk coastal Way and collect it at the end. This b and B is unique. On the wall are photos of when in the past it was a shoe repairers for the village and photos of the occupiers. A fascinating window into history. If you love to sample our historic vernacular architecture stay here for some of the best beams and features you will come across.

Room tip: The twin room is more spacious

we spent 1 night at this b b and were very disappointed.we were shown to our room which was very small.the bed took up most of the room.it had sloping ceilings which limited the space even more.the tea and coffee tray was in the bathroom but no plug to boil the kettle so had to bring it through to the bedroom.the tv was very old like something from the 70s.the only good thing was the breakfast.that was very nice.Idont think it was worth £80 a night.

This gorgeous thatched cottage in the heart of the Norfolk countryside was our home for 4 days and 4 nights with wonderful hospitality from our hosts Brenda and Roy. The rooms are delightful, super clean and full of all the character you would expect to find in this period property. The gardens are lovely and so peaceful and quiet, especially good after a full day exploring the Norfolk countryside. Breakfasts are out of this world, full english, huge portions and homemade bread and marmalade also. Ideally placed in the heart of Norfolk but also for day trips to Sandringham, Cambridge and the north Norfolk Coast . One of the best B&B's I have ever experienced and one of the best choices Ive made lately. Great food at the local pub Chequers for evening meals.
