We booked this to be near to friends who had booked a short distance away with whom we were spending Xmas and the New Year. This is a very busy resort catering mainly for young families. It was noisy and out of its depth to cater for the numbers here. Staff were friendly and food ok but no more than that. They not only catered for residents but for folks from outside visiting and using the small pool. Wifi went down and electricity went off on occasions. This did not surprise us but the only place we could make a connection was by the very noisy pool. As we were trying to make bookings for our onward journey this was very tiresome. The area is beautiful with walks and a great beach for water sports, but beware of the rip tide. Local restaurants were also inundated with hopeful customers and waiting times were usually two hours to get food after getting a table! They are not geared up for this and it showed.

Room Tip: If your due here when it's raining avoid the properties with tin rooves.

Overall great stay beautiful setting. staff was friendly and always willing to help. Resort could do with a small superette for purchasing critical items. I do not have anything else to add make the comment shorter

I found the accommodation to be over priced -the 8 sleeper may sleep 8 people but the living space isn't big enough for 4 people let alone 8, the grading is more in line with 3 star self catering accommodation and not 4 star. It is a great location, in a great area, lots to do on windy days.

our son was playing back to back tennis tournaments In PE so we needed a comfortable, spacious, clean and homely base close enough to all the tennis courts and restaurants/ entertainment facilities. The two bedroom cottage taht we stayed in at Newington Place ticked all these boxes for us! Best of all, it didn't break the bank...

We were unfortunate enough to be booked into exactly the same self catering unit as 2015. Not so funny was that it still had exactly the same problems as the previous year. Septic drains are full outside(and it was not even season time by then), and water could not drain from showers, bath or kitchen sink. In all fairness the personnel immediately started pumping out the drains. The toilet is still leaking, extractors need cleaning and is not working sufficiently, the whole units especially the carpets need a deep cleaning. If you love loud guests and music playing all hours of the night, this resort is for you. The pools are over loaded with chlorine dozing and milky. Guys you have a stunning spot, just start to manage it.
