This Platinum Caravan was very nice and modern, but the fixed seating in the lounge area was very uncomfortable as it was on an hard base and made relaxing in the evening difficult. Also the patio furniture on the veranda was metal and cold to sit on.
We found the site very isolated in the middle of nowhere, the views were good. but there were no walks from the site and no amenity's except a camp shop opening 4 hours per day - you had to use your car every day to go places, which was tiresome and car parking is very expensive.
Been here 4 times now. Nice peaceful site and great accommodation, friendly staff.
The only negative thing is the bad design of the bathroom. If you are a tall person you can get a burn from the radiator which is too close to toilet. But apart from that it's great.
Described as platinum, their top accommodation but it is dated and not that clean but amazing views.
Was clean and spacious for a caravan. Had all the required items for cooking. Nicely maintained exteriors. Kids love the alpaca and the goats also. Overall great place to stay in lake District.
Stayed in Platinum3 caravan for a week in May with my husband and 2 young granddaughters. Service st Skiddaw View excellent as always improvements to park excellent nice to have WiFi all around the park. Caravan clean tidy and well equipped maybe now looking a little tired compared to others we have stayed in recently, didn't spoil our stay though. A gem of a caravan park never looses its charm even after 7 visits, will return soon.
