“Beautiful Park, wonderful lodge.”
Reviewed 3 weeks ago for a stay in May 2018

The location was perfect with amazing views of Skiddaw. The lodge was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The Park was very dog friendly, and the shop was well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved every day of our stay and would definitely come again.

“Amazing holiday, amazing place”
Reviewed 29 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

First time I have been to the Lake District and chose the perfect place to stay. The lodge was very clean, it was like a home from home, dog friendly and in an amazing location. Will definitely be returning. Top marks for a fantastic place.

“Perfect Location”
Reviewed 21 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We first stayed at Skiddaw View Holiday Park in February 2016. We enjoyed our first visit so much we have just been back again for another week. We stayed in one of the lodges with views of the mountains from every window.

The lodge was a real home from home. The kitchen was well equipped with every utensil you could need. There are french doors in the lounge that open up onto a decked area.

The bedrooms had so much storage and the main bedroom also had an en suite. The lodge was clean throughout.

I would definitely recommend a stay at Skiddaw View Holiday park. It is in a great location for exploring the Lake District and only a short drive from the Solway Coast.

“Lovelt peaceful lodge within easy reach of many attractions”
Reviewed 22 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We stayed in this lovely, spacious pet-friendly lodge for a week in November. Great facilities and very warm and cosy - looking at snow falling on the top of Skiddaw with a warm drink in hand was memorable!

Nice quiet site with great dog walking facilities. The doggy welcome pack was a nice treat.

Site within reach of many Lake District attractions as well as Hadrian's Wall and Dumfries and Galloway

Local facilities slightly quiet out of season - we tried to eat at the Greyhound pub but food wasn't available on our 2 visits - but Cockermouth just down the road has all you need.

Will return to this lodge!

“Very peaceful and well-located”
Reviewed 31 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We stayed at Skiddaw View for 4 nights in Pines Lodge. The lodge was comfortable and very clean considering that it is a dog-friendly accommodation. There was a lovely welcome pack for the dog in the lodge and a good dog walking field on site. The site was very well kept and had everything we needed. It is so peaceful and relaxing and just 10 minutes to Keswick by car when you want more life. Really good views and fell walking nearby. We'll definitely go back!
