This is a pleasant, long walk. However, there is still some plastic around (we moved a load each time we visited) which needs moving.

Called and visited this beach with it's sand dunes and miles of sand. It was so peaceful and quiet. Walking is not a problem and as with many Northumberland places that we visited there was no car park charges. It's such a delight not to be put of in visiting these unspoilt areas because of the greed of some councils.

I think if it wasn't for the beaches at Embleton, Beadnell, Low Newton and Bamburgh more people would be coming here. It's quiet - a bit out of the way and a bit further to walk than those others, but it is a great beach. There is a car park with loos nearby - but is also easily walkable from Warkworth itself (20-25mins).

Another beautiful beach stretching for miles along the Northumberland coastline. Golden sands and almost deserted.
