I have travelled on these airlines quite a bit to get to know the exact attitude of these airlines and how they treat their customers. one word HOPELESS service ! the female air hostess does not even greet you or even smile when you are onboard or is this too much to ask for ???? the ground staff are also extremely arrogant and looking for ways to make money by charging you for overweight cabin luggage, they WON'T even give you a glass of water ONBOARD for free when you ask them and especially when you ask them for some water their facial expression changes to something like WHY AM I EVEN THERE ? I would advise you to book Quantas instead of this as these people are hopeless to the core. The WORST in AUSTRALIA, i suggest the CEO or whoever top bloke reading this turn towards first improving the attitude of the female air hostesses and then look at providing basic amenities such as water for free onboard and to provide service with a SMILE such as singapore airlines does. The Air hostesses behaves as though a 1 hour flight journey for them is like a 20 hour international ordeal when you are about to step out of the aircraft and look at their facial expression !!!

Comfy flight over with reasonable leg room, squashed flight home with very little leg room. You'd think that on a 5hr flight they would provide the planes with a little extra space. However, the flights experience itself was fine. My only real gripe is that you have to pay for water. I think water should be complimentary on every flight.

We use Jetstar when we travel to Hobart due to the short flight time and budget pricing that you can get when you book in advance.
They are constantly late with there flights even first thing in the morning, lucky we do not have professional appointments as most times you would not be able to get there on time.
I would not use Jetstar for any long flights due the reasons mentioned and also due to uncomfortable seating and lack of room which is important when travelling long distances.
I particularly dislike there approach to carry on luggage as they weigh peoples bags in an endeavour to generate more revenue from clients whose bags are slightly over weight.
We have our bags weighed regularly and to date we have not been penalised, but i resent there manner and approach when doing same.
They are really quite rude.
We continue to use them due to price and the frequency of flights.

This was a direct flight home which is fabulous, no stopping and hopping off!
It is an overnight flight which we have done before, leaves at 10 pm.....into Melbourne at 9.30 am. On The Dreamliner. Only goes to Melbourne not Sydney. You cannot take your own water on board but they will sell you a bottle of water!

great flight. gorgeous friendly hostess'. captain made up time and actually got there early. Two thumbs up.
