“Comfortable and easy flights to and from London from Melbourne”
Review of Royal Brunei Airlines

Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The crew were efficient and friendly, responding quickly to any requests. The seats are comfortable within the limitations of any long haul flight and the entertainment provided more than adequately filled the time spent awake. The tickets were excellent value and I would readily fly with them again.

The planes were clean and tidy. Quite comfortable seats flight staff were lovely but unfortunately the lack of communication at the airport during transfers was dissapointing to say the least
Staff at the airport when you could find anyone were rude and unpleasant.
Airport was a cold and unwelcoming place to be and when you are stuck there for 2 hours longer than you were meant to be it takes the shine away from your holiday
Wouldnt ever want to have a stop over in Brunei ever again

Recently, we traveled from Melbourne to Glascow with another large well known airline . This was just a cattle truck. In the past, last 2 years ago, we have travelled with RBA, and loved the experience. The only reason we didn't travel withRBA was my husband is I'll, and I didn't feel comfortable going through Heathrow. However I will never travel on any carrier other than RBA again. You food, cleanliness, and attention to detail are to be commended. Price fantastic. The dream liner is lovely airplane. Well done, keep up the good work

    • Seat comfort
    • Customer service (e.g. attitude, care, helpfulness)
    • Legroom
    • In-flight entertainment (WiFi, TV, films)
    • Value for money
Thank claseby

Flew to BALI using Royal Brunei as a last minute option. The flights themselves were great, comfortable, good service and food. The only downside is the layover times in Brunei 3 hours on the way & 11 hours coming home. The airport has limited facilities and only 1 hour of free wifi which would help to pass the time, it can be purchased or you can pay $50 AUD to sit in the sky lounge for 4 hours. The airport has no transit accommodation but for anyone considering this flight book a hotelwhich includes transfers for the return leg, most are only 5-20 min from the airport. Simply fill in a form upon arrival, go through immigration and rest up. It would be nice if the airline themselves offered this option to make the whole process simpler and had a representative on the ground to help with any questions. Overall great value but long flight times, recommended yes but not to families with young children due to the layovers.

This was a good flight although I found it a nuisance having to disembark at Dubai just to reboard the same plane about 30 minutes later. Very comfortable chairs that went flat and formed the bed. Food was of a good standard and presented well. Entertainment system was acceptable for a 17 hour flight.
