United was so delayed we'd miss a connection to Europe. They put us on a direct flight from San Diego to Frankfurt and a quick hop to Lisbon. Great service and on time with Lufthansa. I'll skip US carriers for future trips to Europe.

Im traveling a lot, this flight was excellent.
The seats are comfortable, you have a good amount of space for your legs, the crew was nice and helpful, the food is just ok but it’s a flight you not expect to much.
They flight was easy non stop 10 1/2 hours.
I definitely will go with Lufthansa again.

My family and I flew Lufthansa from NYC to Frankfurt and then took a smaller plane from Frankfurt to Venice. The staff and flight were excellent! The food was good and our seats in premium economy were comfortable. The cabin area for premium economy is small so it almost feels as if you are in a different class even though economy is behind you. I would highly recommend it for long flights. On the way home, Lufthansa upgraded us to Business Class free of charge! The flight and service were exceptional! One of the best flights I have ever been on! Highly recommend.

On our return trip from Krakow to Boston our original flight was canceled due to security breach at Munich airport. Lufthansa stepped up, with hotel accommodation for one night in Krakow, ( by the way a great place to be stuck in this beautiful city )and generous food vouchers. Likewise at Frankfurt airport on a rescheduled flight, we upgraded to business class at a reasonable price. Our flight back from Frankfurt to Boston was more than enjoyable with great service as well as great food and comfort

Flew LHR to Naples via Munich out and Frankfurt rtn, overall pleased with the service and the condition, however there were a few things that could have been improved. We had a couple of minor delays waiting to taxi and to dock at the gate but no information was being passed through. Finally the cabin crew, what exactly do they do these days? Never around when there is a problem and god forbid they might actually assist passengers boarding!!
