“Good flight on the A380”

We had a good flight on the A380 with Emirates.

The comfort was good in economy even for a tall guy like me.

Service was pleasant. Dinner was relatively tasty and they serve complementary alcohol.

They did not provide eyemask and flight socks or toothbrushes in economy which is a shame.

Entertainment was good with a good selection of new movies.

The Emirates App worked very well. Easy to use and to check in and get boarding cards straight on the iPhone.

Travelling with Emirates is always a good experience. The lounges are nicely appointed with every convenience and a great range of food and drink so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The space in First Class is exceptional with plenty of legroom. I love all the extras such as hand lotions and perfume. On the night flight, you get a lovely set of pyjamas. While I went for a shower, the air hostess made up my flat bed with a comfortable mattress.

Food and drink on the flight is very fine quality. Again, there is a good choice, with snacks available and served whenever required.

The staff were wonderfully attentive and served my every need.

This is the best First Class Service I’ve had the pleasure to experience. I can highly recommend this service and although not cheap, it is worth every penny for luxury and relaxation.

Unfortunately this flight didn't go as smoothly as normal. The aircraft was an Airbus A380. Having embarked at the scheduled time we sat on the tarmac while they tried to fix a "technical problem", unfortunately they were still unable to fix it after 2 hours so we were asked to disembark and the new departure time would be another 3 hours later. As we left the aircraft a voucher was provided for us to have a meal at selected restaurants. We returned at the new departure time to find it was a different aircraft and we eventually departed nearly 6 hours later than originally scheduled. Despite this inconvenience the pilot kept us informed and the aircraft staff were great. Over the last 2 years we've flow with Emirates on nearly 20 different flights and this is the 1st time we've had a delay - and after all technical problems can happen so couldn't be helped. Always a great service and would definitely recommend and will be using again!

Excellent Experience with Emirates, this is how every airline should be, and to feel like a King and Queen during your flight.Nothing too much trouble, from checking in first class experience/ Highly recommend

Emirates’ post-travel customer service is appalling. No one to speak with by phone. Emails go unanswered. When our flight was canceled (Business class for 4 people from Phuket to JFK) we were offered no alternative other than a flight back 4 days later (even though we were willing to fly to any nearby airport or stop wherever necessary). We made arrangements on a flight that we found ourselves after being told that although the agent could not book that flight for us, we could seek compensation for what we paid for the tickets. We are seeking compensation for the new tickets we had to purchase or a refund of what we pad to Emirates. Now customer service is nowhere to be found. So much for their reputation as a premium airline.
