Review of British Airways

Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile

It dawned on me that when British Airways decided that they wanted to offer lower economy fares by adding two rows and reducing the legroom to an unbearable 29ins for all the cabins, they were imposing an indirect subsidy by the Club Europe travellers on the economy travellers. Does anyone else feel cheated when they pay almost a £1000 and they come out with sore knees and a sore back just so the airline can get another 6 people on board??

The crew were all nice and friendly, the captain and first officer provided useful information and the flight was smooth.

Unfortunately choose to fly early on Thursday morning in June on flight full of stag and hen dos. BA obviously aware of this as the flight was not one of there’s but operated by Titan Airways. Not a recommended flight. Took ages to get a drink or any food as halfway down plane and the service was very slow.

Not flown with BA for years. Terminal 5 is great. From checking in to boarding the aircraft all went smoothly. The departure area was spacious and not congested, unlike Luton airport. Would definitely travel to Heathrow and fly BA again

Club Europe legroom is worse than Ryanair and EasyJet extra legroom seats which cost less than half the price of the average Club seat. It’s an unacceptable offering for a premium airline. Given the limited space, one cannot slide down the seat and there is virtually no pitch so one has to sit bolt upright for the entire flight

One wonders why the airline chooses to punish their premium travellers in this way.
