Great Flights both on time. Good service. Only downside was trying to reschedule a flight with call centre who kept on insisting I hadnt sent something on email despite me having an acknowledgement back from them thanking me for sending it. There was a distinct language problem that was only resolved after speaking to an operator here in the uk who was superb. Took her only 10 mins to resolve and I gave up on the call centre after over an hour.

I travelled on BA 2154 on 7th Feb 2018, cabin crew were very good, but the traveller plus cabin was very tired, I paid a premium to choose prefered seats , my and my wife foot rests did not work properly, to recline the seats was a 2 person function one to press the button the other to put pressure on the backrest, the pull down tables along the whole of row 22 were almost unusable to the point that trays slipped all over tables and hot drinks held in hand , toilet at rear of our cabin was grubby, just how old this plane is I would like to know as the toilet door had an ashtray on it, shameful that what was a great airline is in decline

The flights left on time and service was fine but my low rating is in relation to the very old aircraft BA is still using. LCA/LHR /LCA, route old aircraft with no individual TV......still corridor hanging Monitors

One of the better business class seats on an airline and the staff are very attentive.

Privacy is maintained by the way the seats are located and the food is fantastic.

The only downside is that the cabin gets very hot while you sleep so I'd recommend bringing light pajamas onboard to change into.

The good news - this was the first flight on the sector with the new club service and there are some improvements. The revised boarding process was welcome as was the bottle of water with the amenity bag, the crockery and glassware have been upgraded, and the food was better (even a main course of fish was both tasty and succulent). Bravo. The bad news - the service was painfully slow throughout as the crew came to grips with the new elements despite a couple of days training ("we had to find where things were" as one person told me). Two and a half hours after take off before the starter was served is unacceptable. The ugly news - at the end of the day the purpose of a journey is to arrive safely on time at the destination. BA seems increasingly incapable of delivering in this respect. There is always a 'reason' of course, on this occasion a number of reasons - a passenger who didn't board (but it took an hour to take off their bags), a longer route (airline decision), a plane which broke down at the flight's arrival gate (but the airline knew when we were due to arrive and could have made other arrangements) and then an air bridge that wouldn't dock properly (but it had just been used successfully). End result ? Another delayed arrival (two hours late) to join the growing list of my similar experiences (a day late out of Lima, five hours late out of Miami, cancelled to Pisa and so on). Management may be working to make the cosmetics better, and that is indeed welcome because they had become dire, but if the fundamentals of the airline (on time departure and arrival) don't function it's all irrelevant. Oh, and it would be nice not to have your preferred flights cancelled and to be re-booked onto much less convenient flights without any consultation or comment on compensation in view of the resulting downgrade. At school my masters would have said "must try harder".
