Small plane VA113 dirty trays and sugar everywhere even in the pocket in front. Cramped and uncomfortable and a really bumpy landing.

This flight was via Sydney. Virgin staff as professional, courteous and friendly as per usual. I like this flight as it gives you a break in Sydney. Enough time to stretch legs, grab a coffee and board next leg to Lonnie.
In flight entertainment is a bonus.

We were picked up on an Alliance aircraft who obviously subcontract out to Virgin. We were lucky to get an exit aisle so there was plenty of leg room on this flight from Rockhampton to Brisbane. Food was also good, didn't know Virgin did food. The next flight was a disaster, had to pay not so squeazy with the large lady who sat next to me, she couldn't even follow instructions on how to board and she came down the aisle from the front when she should of come from the back. food was ok and once again a surprise. Leg room from Bris to Syd was another disaster, knees jammed into the poor bugger in front of me, sorry dude but couldn't be helped.

I had originally booked for Economy on Virgin ( will not fly anything but for domestic especially) and was asked if I would like or mind being moved. Great because having long legs this was very convenient. I always find the cost comparable and comes back to whom one would prefer to fly with. The staff certainly know their business, polite, helpful, and always ready if something special is needed unexpectedly. The most recent flight was effected by the bad weather in Melbourne and unfortunately put the whole schedule out of wack. This is unusual for me. Many people were quite upset at the delay as schedules did have to be met. This was not the airlines fault, if we could order the weather we want perhaps it would be different. Light snack was served which was adequate for the short flight.

I promised myself not to fly on Virgin after my previous flight to Bali, however, tried them again. Once again only one bottle of sparkling wine for eight people! The food was good and the only thing that saved the flight was the service . The Cabin Manager was excellent, very professional and very friendly. The seats are still uncomfortable.
