“Jetstar - NRT to FUK”
Review of Jetstar Japan

Reviewed 28 June 2018 via mobile

This flight was priced at a little under USD $100/person for one-way. This included one Check-in luggage up to 35kg, first row seating, & free credit for in-flight snacks. Highly recommend you booking everything online first as you will probably have to pay double/triple at the airport counter (happened to me before).

    • Seat comfort
    • Customer service (e.g. attitude, care, helpfulness)
    • Legroom
    • In-flight entertainment (WiFi, TV, films)
    • Value for money

Seats are close, I'm 6'3 and my knees are always pushing against the back of the seat in front no matter where i put my feet. I find it bearable for 2 hours or so provided the seat in front is up.
The cabin temp always seems to be on the warmer side.
The crew are always pleasant and professional.
I've taken this trip return 4 times now and will continue to do so as its convenient.
FYI expect to have your carry on baggage weighed
Im giving these guys a better than average score because the cabin crew are pleasant and ive never seen them shifting or crushing peoples bags in the overhead lockers and ive never had a delayed flight

Took the over 4-hours flight from Hong Kong to Tokyo Narita. Not expecting anything as it is a budget airline. However I have to mention their seats are terribly uncomfortable and really killed my back as I have to sit with my back crooked due to design of the chair’s back. Will not fly Jetstar again as there are many choices for flight to Tokyo.

I am 79 years-of -age and need a wheelchair for ‘airport distances’ I can walk from boarding check-in onto aircraft no problem and in an ‘Emergency’ I can run!! This was a flight Manila to Tokyo to join a Cruise. Outbound no issues or problems and a wheelchair.
Return was a total JETSTAR disaster. Female Check-in Agent had ‘attitude’ and lots of it. She stated there were already 3 wheelchair users and ‘Company Policy’ did not allow 4th. If I insisted I would be offloaded and booked the following day. We had good Japanes/English guide so no question of ‘misunderstanding’ Again it was explained to no avail wheelchair was only required to Boarding Point. Requests to speak with Manager/Supervisor were repeatedly denied. There were a number of wheelchairs around so did normal ‘Check-in’ then used one of these.
At each ‘Check’ immigration/security etc offered to vacate the wheelchair, at each staff could not be more helpful and agreed I should continued to use it. Abandoned it at the gate and walked aboard.
TOKYO AIRPORT FOOTNOTE: They have a new terminal with NO vehicular access. It is half kilometer walk along which you must haul your luggage and body. So much so it has road like markings on footpath ‘Only xxx meters to go’
