Passengers are required to be fully vaccinated and show proof before boarding, but there is nothing on the Princess website that states the crew will be fully vaccinated. In fact, someone asked the question in the FAQ's and the Princess response was the crew will be vaccinated according to CDC guidelines. Well, review the guidelines and you will learn that the crew is not required to all be vaccinated. Protect your passengers, require the crew to be 100% vaccinated, then state that on your website!

I Love Cruising with Michelle wrote a review 27 Jan

We splurged a little by choosing a Club Club MiniSuite. The perfect size balcony cabin for our two adults and two young teens. Love the technology onboard, particularly having the cabin door unlock as you approached it, and being able to order drinks to wherever we were sitting throughout the ship. The Ocean Medallion and Ocean Ready app make check in smooth and fast, and the whole experience on board more personalised. The food on a Princess ship is always wonderful. I'm yet to get a booking at Curtis Stone's Share but we certainly loved Crown Grill as always. We enjoyed Movies under the Stars on a beautiful warm evening, with our popcorn in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. A relaxing, refreshing, family friend getaway! (February 2020 from Sydney)

I’m a seasoned cruiser with about 25 cruises. Many on Princess, this exact route we did 3 years ago pre-Covid. Best thing about this cruise was it was only 1/3 the capacity. We upgraded from a mini suite to a full suite for 900 dollars at the front desk. Room was amazing with a double size deck as was our room steward MayAnne. Problems were: no entertainment to speak of. Food was dreadful as was service in all dining rooms. You would think it would be amazing service because it was mostly empty. . We finally just started using room service and ate in our rooms. Food is a big part of cruising and this just fell very short. The ship was in need of many repairs… I assumed that after two years of not being in service all painting and repairs would be done. Not the case rust everywhere painting constantly going on with that horrible smell of oil based paint. Anyway besides the fabulous room and MayAnn I would not take the screws again. I would put more effort into flying somewhere to receive a better cruise for the newer ship

Not enough seats and tables to allow guests to dine. Staff stood watching us struggle for a place at every meal. Restaurants always fully pre-booked. IF YOU ARE DISABLED, FORGET IT BECAUSE THE STAFF WILL NOT HELP YOU. Cleaning staff were very efficient. The ship wants to sell you things no-one is interested in. The trips are very short e.g day trip to Bondi lasted 1 hour 30 minutes. A total rip-off and put me off cruising for life. NEVER AGAIN!

We flew to Seattle and had 3 wonderful days exploring then joined Ruby Princess for a 7 nights cruise Seattle to Vancouver via Alaska inside passage. We stayed on in the same cabin and enjoyed 31 nights back to Sydney. This was our 23rd Princess Cruise and we just love them. The staff are who make your journey and if you take the time to get to know them they are very interesting to talk to as they have travelled the world. Whilst the food becomes a little repetitive there is always something somewhere on the ship for you to enjoy. It may be the dining room, buffet, pizza, burgers and fries. It was our first time on Ruby Princess and she is large and well fitted. All the Princess ships are similar in decor. The entertainment was great until Hawaii and then it went down hill. We can't wait for our next cruise. If you are new to cruising take a short one to see if it for you. If you love to cruise then I totally recommend Princess. But, be prepared to join a queue now and then, be patient and courteous and remember you are not the only one on holiday and you will have a great time.
