Easy to check in via the internet when arrived at East midlands i was fast tracked to departures and the flight was on time.
at Brussels getting the baggage was quick then the hotel was next to the terminal.

When I arrived at Bristol I was told my flight had been cancelled -other travellers had received emails
It took 3 hours to get through to flybmi customer service who eventually arranged for me to go to Heathrow by taxi for a flight the following morning - no cost to me
The return flight was also cancelled and I had to go to Heathrow and pay for the taxi fare of £425 myself
I addition I incurred cancelled hotel and car rental costs in all totalling over £700
Flybmi customer service received my claim in March and have inadequate systems to repay these expenses as a simple BACS transfer is not an available option
Today I was told that having waited all this time for a repayment they cannot pay for another 10 days
It seems bizzarre that an event beyond my control caused by a lack of staff that resulted in me having two cancelled flights in a week does not possess a customer service policy to recompense their customers in under 3 months
As a regular business traveller to Frankfurt I wish I could find an alternative airline from Bristol

BMI Regional are currently running an 'Offer' using Promo Code EXPORT10

Using this code will actually cost you more than not using it

When asked why their POOR excuse was :
The promotional code "EXPORT10" removes 10% off the base fare, before taxes and charges are applied. The discounted price applied to your wife's booking amounts to £10.00 off the base fare, which is why on this occasion the promotional code benefit wasn't as effective

They need to get their act together - The idea of a discount code is to reduce the fare

This used to be a really good fight, but recently it has gone down in quality. My flight has been cancelled 3 times, and this week it was appalling as the flight was cancelled and we were put on a 3-hour coach to Heathrow. It took me 7-hours to get to Brussels! It is disappointing as flying from EMA is such a convenient way of getting to Brussels for me and many others but after 3 failed trips, i will now fly from BHX instead, which is just down the road. It's a pity as it is giving EMA a bad name, airport shops will be loosing money, and people will just change of airport or take the train. Very poor. Compensation is almost impossible to get and the service is deteriorating fast. Please get your act togheter as we're paying good money for it!

Booked a flight to Gothenburg back in February. The return leg of the journey due to fly at 9.30am was cancelled. No customer representative at the airport just s phone number which wasn’t open until 9.30 (this was now 7.30). Once 9.30 came I was on hold for 40 minutes before all they offered was s flight back at 6.30 pm via Brussels. I eventually got home at nearly midnight having expected to be home by 11am. So here I am using resolver to claim compensation and now into my fourth month. Not even an apology from this company. It’s disgusting I will never use them again !
