Are drones allowed to film my vacation?
They are allowed. We flew ours. Our resort was ok with it too despite of what people say here. Just be respectful. We took a canoe out and flew it over lagoon.Edited: 01 April 2018, 18:09
It depends on where you stay and where you are. We had to sign a document at the Sofitel at check in stating that they were prohibited. Other resorts may do that too. And of course there are restrictions around airports.
Depends on where you are staying. Some will allow and others won't.
Here comes round #2.... "ding, ding, ding".
Kika - LOL, isn't that the truth.
Just to let you know, we arrived to IC Le Moana yesterday and the hotel gave us a letter already at the check-in that said the drones are not allowed.
I'm not sure why they are allowed anywhere. There are plenty of aerial pictures/videos available on the internet (yes, I know many from drones). They would bother and annoy me even if I saw it from a distance. Would you really want to help spoil someone else's hard earned vacation? There's enough crap out there already. Please leave your drone at home and fly it there if you must. Unless you are my neighbor.
