Travel from Peschiera Del Garda to Verona

What’s best bus or train? Will you need to use buses once you get to Verona? Will the 4 Euro daily ticket cover travel from Peschiera? Also on another day we’ll be visiting Sirmione. What ticket should we get? Two singles or a daily one? We’re staying at Camping Bella Italia.

From Bella Italia would either have to walk the 2.5 kms to the station or take a 10/12 minute bus ride. Trains take around 10/15 minutes. From the station in Verona you would have another 15/20 walk to the centre.

You can take the bus from the campsite gates right to the centre of Verona, the journey time is around 50/60 minutes.

You can buy one day tickets but they are €7. The fare on the LN026 bus is €3 if tickets are bought before boarding, €4.30 if bought on the bus. There are no return tickets, you just by two singles.

Thanks once more. Is Verona pretty walkable or will we need buses once in the city? Is there a day ticket to use within Peschiera?

Verona is a very walkable town, much of the centre is traffic free so it’s easy to get around. The bus takes you right into Piazza Bra next to the Arena.

Peschiera is a small town, the centre is around a 15 minute walk along the lakeside path. There are day bus passes for the LN026 bus, €7 and for the ATV bus 483 up the eastern shore as far as Malcesine, that’s €10 for the day pass. You don’t really need a bus to get around Peschiera.

When are you travelling?
