Lodges

Hi All, I’m planning my trip to South Africa for this April.

I was going to spend 2 nights and one lodge and then 3 nights at a second lodge. I was thinking of doing Kapama Buffalo Lodge for the first 2 and then Pondoro for the last 3 nights. Are these too similar or should I look at a different reserve? These two lodges seem like they are a great value and nice accommodations. I don’t want to miss out on great game viewing. Will it really make much of a difference between the different reserves?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Wedgirl,

I think Kapama Buffalo Camp and Pondoro make a great combination. Kapama is a fenced reserve, and Pondoro's in Greater Kruger (within the Kruger boundary fence), so the wildlife experience will be different but very good. The accommodations are very different, but both excellent.

Enjoy your trip.
