The World Cup in Manila

Due to the rather unfortunate KO times in the Russia, most of this tournament will be taking place after midnight. Any suggestions for places to watch the games where there could possibly be an atmosphere?

The FIFA World Cup is the only world cup scheduled for Russia in 2018, to the best of my knowledge.

You have posted this question in the Makati section of the forum. Do you mean only in Makati, or generally in the National Capital Region.

There is a link to Metro Manila Sports Bars in the top questions section in the Metro Manila section of the forum

Get a VPN on your computer and a place with decent WiFi, set your vpn to the uk then watch it on the bbc or itv or you could try howzat in makati otherwise there is a sports bar in Angeles and also expect big apple in puerto galena and Harley’s in barrio Barretta olongapo to be open

Or it will be shown on television ABS CBN channel 23 Sports and Action.

This is a regular channel available on basic subscriptions so if you don’t want to get out at 2.45 am should be on most hotel TVs , the bad news is they don’t subscribe to studio chat so half time is fifteen minutes of ads

Phillies Sports Bar is the most popular venue for expats in Angeles City.. Good for a game of pool or people watching.
