We do not know as yet .

You have not stated your nationality but as you have said you are in the UK assume you are British

Currently with covid restrictons you do need a visa but next year who knows

Pre covid you could come for 30 days visa free but now there are more precautions with pre departure vettings so whether visa free travel will resume by next year or at all is unknown

Yes kids need visas and again the vaccination requirements currently in force and proposed for quarantine free travel may affect where you can go if kids have not been vaccinated

Sampag1ta is incorrect on visas. Visa Exempt entries for 55 nations including the UK are available right now. And the permitted time in country is 45 days to cover quarantine.

But for an accurate answer you need to let folks know your nationality and intended length of stay.

And visa rules are the same for kids.

Thank you

I stand corrected however under current rules you do need to obtain a Certificate Of Entry plus other rules as per the link.

There are numerous posts on the various proposals if you want to work your way back.

I see the COE being with us for a while, as it presents the easiest route to deal with vaccination proof. The Royal Thai Embassies in different countries know what is being issued in their location by local health authorities and thus can judge if the proper proof was presented with the COE application. They then note on the COE if vaccination waivers are applicable. This way Immigration officers don't have to learn what 190+ different vaccination certificates look like.
