There is a lot to do for sure.
1. You can have a game drive at the Nairobi National Park, the only wildlife park in the world that you can visit by taxi or bus. Inside are lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, giraffes, gazelles and more.
2. Elephant orphanage - The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust inside the park, where between 11 a.m. and noon you can watch keepers take orphaned baby rhinos and elephants for their daily mud baths. On the western edge of town is the Giraffe Center. This gives you a completely up close and personal interaction where you have the opportunity to view giraffes as well as feed them. This is the only place where you can go as near as feeding the Giraffe from your palm.
3. You can also enjoy a fantastic lunch at the famous CARNIVORE RESTAURANT which considered ‘Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience' . Every type of meat imaginable including a selection of exotic meat is roasted over charcoal and carved at your table. Delicious side dishes and an exceptional array of sauces complement this fixed price feast that also includes soup, a selection of desserts and Kenyan coffee.
4. There is also Bomas of Kenya, Karen Blixen Museum, and shopping at the Kazuri beads and souvenir shops around the Karen area.
You can never get bored being in the city. Karibu Kenya Hakuna Matata.
