I'll be on princess saphire on february 29th. I plan to prebook a taxi to hcmc. I got an estimation from vnrentacar. Is there really problem to go out the gate with policeand or visa ? We are three french and are ready to share with more people.

Yes you will need a visa and yes taxis are not able to drive onto the dock so you will have to walk outside the gates.

Ship will organise your visa and best to have taxi or car organised before your arrive to wait outside gate for your arrival.

I just come back from this cruise. No problem to go at the gate where rent cars are waiting. Just walk 500meters. Visa is organized by ship office. Traffic is fair good and 1.5 hour each way is time you need.

Yes there was some taxisxand vans or minibus but they have been booked in advance.
