Pereybere - eating out

I am looking to book for 2 weeks next year and have finally narrowed my search down (for now anyway!) to Pereybere. Possibly the Pereybere Hotel & Apartments. I like to eat out in the evenings and would like to know if there are plenty of places to eat in the area. Not looking for fine dining, just good food at reasonable prices.

In the daytime there should be streetfood by the beach and small restaurants on the main front of Pereybere. Jump on a bus and you will be in Grand Baie in 10 minutes.

Looked around this hotel a year ago for a friend and liked it.

Its right in the middle of Pereybere and has restaurants right outside.

Also a Winners supermarket where you can get street food like samosas, cakes, pizza, salads etc.

The bus stops right outside and you can be in Grand Baie within 5 minutes or so.

Couer de Ville Mall with Super U as its focal point has lots of places to eat including MacDonalds, Debonairs, KFC, PizzaHut, Steers, a lovely ice cream parlour and the very popular O Cafe attatched to Super U with the usual take outs and pastries and does a good coffee.

A little further out (you can catch the free shuttle next to GBC Cars on the coastal road) is La Croisette Mall which has a good food court.

Some nice restuarants at Pereybere and Grand Baie.

Thanks for the info. Are the buses quite regular and do they run into the late evening - we are not late night people, but maybe 11ish?

I think the buses stop early evening - heres a timetable of routes' that serves Pereybere - Grand Baie.

A taxi shouldn't cost too much as its only a five minute drive away.

If not there are places in Pereybere to eat.
