Is there public transportation from city center to titanic museum
There is no Titanic Museum. However glider service G2 will take your from the city centre to the Titanic Quarter where Titanic Belfast is located. This is visitor experience, not a collection of artefacts. For a genuine artifact visit SS Nomadic.
There is as mentioned above. You can also walk there from the city centre in about 30 mins depending on your starting point.
It's also on the HOHO bus route if you're planning to do that.
Glider G2 is your best bet. You do know as Drumlog has stated that it's not a museum, but more of an exhibition center. Focused on building Titanic, the work force and the local industries that made various things for Titanic.
I highly recommend the HoHo tour bus. We got it from the city centre to Titanic Belfast but didn't go inside. We just had a walk around the area, had a look at Samson and Goliath, then got back on the next HoHo bus, getting off and on a few times to see some of the other sights on the route.
Be sure to book ahead, it can be very busy .
Booking in advance will probably be mandatory from whenever it reopens, but very busy will be unlikely. No doubt they will be limiting numbers like all other attractions.
To really appreciate Titanic Belfast allow six hours.
And half way through enjoy lunch in Bistro 401.
HOHO is really good, the Titanic Experience is superb, took us far longer than expected,so much to see especially the clever use of video seen from the ride.
The Bistro food quality was very good but they were having some service issues when we visited, food was being served to tables while people were still waiting in line to pay!
Try to get to Crumlin Mail too,we didn't know it was open for visitors until too late, hopefully next time, whenever that may be!
