(Am sure most of what I’ll ask is throughout this forum)

1 - is there a water taxi between Marin/Rodney bay - like from bay gardens to eat on dauphin street?

2- what is the best place to get traditional / local st Lucian food in GrosI islet?

3- is there a place to exchange currency at a good rate?

4- how much is a piton typically?

5- is there a local grocery or shop for beer/ water on reduit?

6- is tap water safe to drink?

Thank you!

1 - is there a water taxi between Marin/Rodney bay - like from bay gardens to eat on dauphin street? Not a regular service, no, but you can hire one to take you along the coast. It will be costly though, land taxis are much cheaper.

2- what is the best place to get traditional / local st Lucian food in GrosI islet? Anywhere you see locals eats. Flavors of the Grill, Golden Taste, and so on. There's lots of food spots around the village, very easy to smell and decide for yourself. If you mean in Rodney Bay Village itself (considering you mention RB above and Reduit below), the roti lady on the beach, or upstairs in the JQ Mall at the food court (great local lunches quite cheap)

3- is there a place to exchange currency at a good rate? Airport bank right on arrival, or any bank where you may be at..rate is the same across the board. Or change just a little to get you started and use an ATM as needed, and credit cards for larger purchases.

4- how much is a piton typically? $3.50 in grocery store. In bars, anywhere from. $3-4-10 up through $7-10 a bottle. At some hotels, more than $15-20 per bottle. (prices in XCD)

5- is there a local grocery or shop for beer/ water on reduit? Two Massey grocery stores right in Rodney Bay. One downstairs the JQ Mall and one downstairs the Baywalk Mall. The Baywalk one has some higher end items and more imported items.

6- is tap water safe to drink? Tap water is perfectly safe to drink. Different mineral content that you may be used to, just like if you drank in some other area of your own country. Clean and safe.

Enjoy!
