I love the restaurant at the top of the Sani Pass. The food was so good, we had the chicken curry and lamb stew, hot meals in a warm and cosy setting. The staff are friendly and provide the best service. It was my second...visit, and won't be my last!More

Of course the main purpose to visit this place is to see the "Highest Pub In Africa" ! Apart from that we had lunch which, whilst nothing fancy, was very adequate and tasty. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. Then there are...the views from the top os Sani which are amazing.More

You'll have to endure a tricky mountain pass 4x4 drive up the Sani Pass to get to the venue which is an adventure all on its own. Once at the top the views are epic and you'll often be above the clouds. Quaint cottage style...restaurant serving decent food at decent prices and if you're there in winter then the cosy bar will keep you entertained for a while. Chalets are neat and comfy and there are lovely walks. Safe and secure.More

We stopped off here as part of the Sani Pass tour (there is nowhere else to stop!). The views are amazing and the food is more than adequate. There is a wide choice of wines and beers to choose from - with the added cachet...of being the highest pub in Africa. If you are doing the Sani Pass tour you will end up here. There are lots of local tribesman who will try and get you to take a photo of them - for a modest contribution!More

We had the lentil soup, fresh trout with vegetables and apple crumble. It was well cooked and tasty. Helped cope with the drop in temperature.

Had dinner here last night service was terrible The waiter didn’t bother giving us napkins, salt and pepper not bother taking our drinks orders. Steak and fish we had were over cooked. Disappointed with the restaurant service

Lunch here is always appreciated as I always consider that we're on top of a mountain and it's taken time, money and effort for the food to be transported up the pass to the lodge's kitchen. So no matter how the food tastes I always...enjoy it. The beers are always guaranteed to be cold :)More

A beautiful little pub and restaurant on the summit of Sani Pass. We enjoyed our meals and drink a lot while admiring the view of the pass.

The drive up Sani pass is a must, one of the world's top pass drives. The views of the 12 Apostles and all along the route are breathtaking, and the serpentines and the steep valleys next to the road edge are unbelievable. The food at...the mountain top lodge restaurant is simple but filling as all needs to be driven up the pass from South Africa.More

I've only ever had drinks at the pub then gone to the table to await food. I don't recall ever seeing napkins at Sani top :)

Hi Yes it is, the road is tarred all the way from Clarens to the Sani top pub. Beware of potholes, reckless drivers and cattle :)
