I love the complimentary fresh bread. It just fills your mouth and you can feel the softness of the bread inside your mouth. What a hospitality we recieved from the staff.

Always a pleasure.a Friendly welcome. Good fresh fish and seafood..Good quality Danish feta in salad. Love the complementary garlic and chilli with buns Conveniently situated in student business centre. Less than 1km from NWU main gate.Good food -also moneys worth.

We visited Potchefstroom and ate with our godchild at OB. OB ran a national campaign with a dish with a whole bream. On ordering we learned that it is not available. It would have gone down better if the waitress said that when she handed out the menu's. Later on we pick up at the table next to us that they ran out of buns as well.

Terrible , absolutely terrible

The only good thing about this experience was our waiter . Other than that the food was ill-prepared , the oysters were definitely off , and the food looks horrible (and tasted) The owner is the most vile , rude woman I have met in my life , and should not be working in that restaurant. She is a terrible human being

This fish Resturant offers a lovely selection of fish options - grilled, fried or sushi! Large portions of lovely fish well prepared. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful

We stopped for an early dinner in Potchefstroom before dropping someone off. The restaurant was not busy but the food seemed to take for ever to arrive. The food was good despite the wait.

Worst management ever!!!

We tried to have dinner at OB in Potchefstroom. As you might have heard, Potch is one of the hottest towns during the recent heat wave, and as such the foggers were working during the day, but were turned off during the evening (18:15)! It was still 31 degrees by 20:45. After numerous attempts made by our waiter to convince the owners wife to turn them back on, she refused! I then went and asked myself, as well as, a gentlemen from and elderly couple went to do the same. Still she refused us! We then decided to cancel our orders and left. The elderly couple did the same. I have never experienced such impertinence in all my life!

Excellent service and good food

We were attending Aardklop Arts Festival and were looking for dinner after one of the late shows. While preparing to close, the restaurant went beyond call of duty and opened their doors for us, as well as 3 other groups of people who rushed in for something to eat. The food was delivered promptly, and well prepared. Thank you for serving some hungry late comers!

Always great service and amazing food

We were at Ocean Basket last night and I just realised once again that this is one of the greatest restaurants in Potch. The service is always great, the food is always fresh and amazing and the atmosphere is always calm and tranquil. Thanks Ocean Basket for great service, you never disappoint ;-)

Quick and delicious lunch
