While touring vineyards we spotted a brewery sign and having once enjoyed one of the craft beers decided to break the wine tour and deviate to beer. Arriving along dust and potholed roads one does not expect much but wow were we pleasantly surprised. They served good basic foods along with a variety of craft beers. The place had a... More

Interesting find that they have 14 beers and you can taste all at R10 a taster. We only tasted the 3 most popular(not being beer drinkers and all)but very good, pleasant drinking beers. Friendly staff and we got merchandise to remember the trip.

Worth making a detour - a MUST visit place. Although I am not a beer drinker, it was worth the visit. They have tasting glasses (100ml) available with 15 craft beers to try. Well trained staff, who a welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. Family friendly! and great burgers.

Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. I mentioned that we had not been to Darling Brew before expecting that the assistant would tell us a bit about the history or people of the brewery, but she did not. We were offered a table to do the tasting. We proceeded to taste the full range of beers available.... More

14 beers to taste and wonderful service with a smile. The beers are very interesting and different from the usual brands. Not all to my taste, but quite a few were delicious.

Perhaps a little off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we worked our way through taster trays of all 13 beers, plus a great value lunch to soak up the alcohol. Interesting beer range, starting at 2.6% going up to 9%, with a good variety of styles and... More

The new Darling Brewery is really great and a definite must for anyone in the area. The beers are great, I have a particular love for the Bone Crusher. I would recommend starting with a taster tray and then going for a few pints of your favourites! The food is also great, simple and delicious.

Fresh place with a nice setup. Beer tasting at a huge bar or as sitdown with a lunch snack (everchanging, but their burgers and platters are great. Location is alright, tucked away in an industrial area, but their view is alright. Sat upstairs once looking over the brewery floor and in the garden another visit. Exceptionally suited for large groups.... More
