About
The "Wharf Street Brew Pub" is situated on the historic Wharf Street in Port Alfred. It is housed in the oldest commercial building in Port Alfred completed in 1853. The decor is simple with pictures of old Port Alfred being the focal pointWe have micro Brewery attached to us and sell three of our own beers. Our food is a selection of Pub Style food like fish and chips, schnitzels and burgers ranging to freshly caught line fish, in house matured steaks and a host of other things in between. We pride our selves on good food and service so please pop in if only to sample our local brew, you might well end up staying for a bite to eat as many do after seeing our menu.

Great place for lunch with atmosphere and flair of an old colonial building. Our lunch and the service have been perfect!

We go here just as a couple but also as a group of 8-10 people. Everything sampled so far has been really good. My favorites are the mushroom stack and kudu. The staff is friendly, efficient and professional. The wine list is good and i...have it from good counsel that the milkshakes are outstanding.More

We were fortunate to be one of the few patrons at Wharf Sreet Brew Pub after a busy season. The manager and staff gave us such personal service, showed us the cellars and gave us a brief history of the place. Love the clean white...tablecloths, the ancient walls, high ceilings and beautiful spot on the Kowie River. The grilled hake, calamari, veggies, salad and mash were freshly cooked and mouthwatering. The service was professional and we really enjoyed the overall experience. Much luck going forward, Nick and your staff!More

Changed hands. Chef can cook well but front of house is chaos. Come back Delroy, you are needed. Until service is sorted and organised this place is unusable.

Think we just got them on a bad day. More than an hour for our food, drinks only arrived after 45min. After we asked about our order.😢 A nice little place with a pleasing atmosphere.

The restaurant is in an old stone building next to the Kowie river. The atmosphere is great and old-wordly, and the basement is worth a visit. The food is out of this world. We were eight people and all had different meals. Everybody were delighted...by their choices and said that they would easily visit the restaurant again. The menu is quite extensive, and it offers a wide variety of meals.More
