Value for money, its hard to beat Coffee and Cream for what it serves. Our cake was fresh and wonderful. The breakfast plate was piled high - did not have to eat again till late evening!
Stopped off here to rest our legs & had delicious & refreshing homemade ginger beers. Quelled our thirst on a hot day. We would definitely return again to savour this beverage.
Quality of coffee is very nice and the selfmade cakes also, but much to big for seniors. The staff was not very attent, we got at the end outr coffee after 35 minutes...... a pity
We had breakfast here on a Friday morning. The place is cold and uninviting. We should have walked straight our! The cappuccino was below average. The food was terrible. Never again.
It's a great rustic venue but the chicken pie was cold in the centre. The ginger beer was quite sour and left much to be desired.
Upon entering one immediate focuses on an array of the most eye-catching cakes. Chocolate Mouse, Carrot a fest for the eyes. The "Jaffels" reminiscent of a forgotten era. Old World setting made for great ambiance.
Bit shocked to response for extra large breakfast ie bacon and egg. "Sorry it's going to take too long. When it's busy like this she doesn't make the big breakfast ". Another comment heard "order the cake it's quicker as there are other breakfast orders...More
