We had such a fun surprise when we walked down to Rocxi Beach to have a ordinary dinner and we got a silent disco Instead. We bought a bottle of Bramptom red and we were treated to prizes (which consisted of beach towels, hats, buffs, ice buckets, wine glasses) AS WELL as headphones which allowed us to enjoy a silent disco as far as the waters edge. It was wonderful. The kids thoroughly enjoyed every second of it!! The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter ( Ben ) was so attentive and made sure we were looked after. It was a wonderful night. We will definitely be back. P.s the wine was PERFECTION 👌🏻 so that helped alot with the cause. We might get another bottle by the time the night is over!

Stopping for lunch while the family went shopping, I ordered the mussel pot off the regular menu.
Simply said, it was the best mussels I have ever had! Well priced, I received 20 fresh mussels in a great home-made white sauce. Well recommended.

We had the most delicious breakfast at Rocxi’s beach. The restaurant has the most amazing view of the main beach in Langebaan and the decor in the restaurant was awesome. The food took a while to come out but the service and food was absolutely delicious.

Service was okay when we walked in. After that it went down hill. Ordered a few drinks, food took a while which was explained by the waiter, Who lnever mentioned his name. We let the waiter know we would go out for fresh air. We then saw him bring our food to the table.
The food was not great.
If you like your onion rings with some surprises like (pieces of fish, calamari tubes and chip kaaings) its the place to be. Especially if you ordered Pork ribs. Our table was hardly cleared, i felt like clearing it myself a few times.
Eventually a runner appeared, we asked him to ask the waiter for the bill. The runner returned with our bill that looked like a dog chewed it and spat it out. (It was wet with holes In it) We saw the other tables receiving bills In a holder.
The Girl who appears to be the manager had a giggle when she saw us ask the waiter why we would receive a bill looking that way.
She also never checked on our table, even though she spent alot of time with what seemed to be regular guests right next to our table.
What does it take in 2024 to be treated equally in a restaurant in Langebaan. My money is the same shade as the next person.

Restaurant was half full when we placed our food order. Then 3 tables that arrived AFTER us received their food before. The poor waitress was aware and could only apologize. Our food arrived 42 minutes after placing the order and the manager, who helped serve the food, didn't even apologize.
My daughter is there tonight with some friends. She told us that although Roxy's is almost empty, they still waited 33 minutes for their food.
I DO NOT recommend this place at all.

Don’t Bother - waited 45 mins for my husband’s smoothie to arrive. Still no food after an hour so paid for the drinks and left. Every time we asked where the smoothie was or the food was - got the same standard response of “it’s coming”. However it never came.

We went for lunch as colleagues. food was nice,but when we got the bill,our numbers didnt add up because we realised we were billed one meal extra that we did not receive. After disputing this with the waiter,he called the manager and we all explained to her that the food that arrived late was already on the order,but an extra plate was added. After this was cleared and the manager agreed to remove the item,the slip came back showing that the item was removed,but a gratuite of 10% was added to the bill, and was suddenly part of the policy that more than 6 people at a table pays the mininum gratuity based on the bill. Never was this firstly mentioned when we sat down, and the manager didnt come out herself to inform us of this. The waited pointed to the non-existend policy on the slip. I read in other reviews something similar happened to other clients. Ive never shyd away from giving a tip, but to be forced to pay a certain amount after our bill was supposed to be less,was absurd and disgusting. I say again,the food was nice,but the experience was crap. What was meant to be a farewell lunch or a colleague left a bitter taste. Sorry Roxcis, but you left me no choice,even though this wont make the horrible experience go away.

Stopped at this restaurant for breakfast. Admittedly, they were busy, but this is no excuse for the worst service we have ever received at a restaurant. We ordered coffee, and we received cold coffee 30 minutes after ordering. Our food orders were taken 20 minutes after seating, after 1 hour we still had not received any food. The server who took our order never came and asked if all was OK. We called another server to enquire if we are going to get food, if not bring the bill for the coffee so that we can leave. After another 10 minutes, we were told they were busy plating the food, and it would be served in 2 minutes' time. 10 minutes later, 3 meals arrived although we had ordered 4 meals. The croissants, which were supposed to be toasted, were soggy, obviously heated in a microwave . The sausages with the third meal were cold. To top it off, the fourth meal never arrived. At this stage, I just wanted to get out of this dump and left without eating after spending 2 hours here. We paid without leaving a tip for the server the first time I had ever done this. At the door when leaving we met another 2 couples who had the exact same experience. They had also been served three and not four meals. If this establishment can not decenly serve people in the busy season they should tell customers before seating them.

We wandered around Langebaan and decided to try the Rocxibeach as it was new. We were not fans of Driftwoods which was its predecessor at this location. I have to say it the views are even better due to the new design of the windows. The food is far better than the previous restaurant. We shared a sushi platter. Our waiter was friendly but was also serving tables at the other side of the restaurant so drinks and food took longer than they should have. Our friendly waiter did apologise for the delay but to be honest, management need to look at how they allocate tables to waiters so that waiters are not put under needless pressure by allocating tables to them that are not in the same location. This should be something that can be easily fixed. The sushi when it did come was very good. Only reason for marking this restaurant down is the slow service which management need to address.

Visited the restaurant today to gave some oysters. Were informed that they do have but can’t serve oysters before 12:00-!! We must come back in 45 min to be allowed to order oysters! While we we’re sitting there was at least one other table that were not allowed to order what they wanted bacause ‘they are not allowed to serve lunch’ before 12:00. We were allowed to have wine though!

Booked a table for 16 people for early in the morning to celebrate my daugters birthday. Asked the hostes Hannah to book the front seats facing the Beach.
Arrived 10min before our booking. All seats we booked was already taken. Wide eyed they started to scramble around. They said their hostess Hannah only starts work at 10.00 and they are not sure what's going on now. Our name was 2nd or 3rd on their booking list.
They said they will make place at the back. 15 min later we got seating. Waited almost 20 min just to get a waiter for the coffee order, 20 min later the first person got coffee. 45 min later the last person got coffee. We decided to not order any more coffee, as we did not want to spend the whole day there.
Eventually the food arrived. Some dishes where not bad, but the "miss Rocxi Beach" was a disappointment to say the least. Also the pork sausages and rosti with the breakfast were extremely dry and rock hard.
While we were eating some object fell from the roof and broke a glass to pieces all over the guests. Nobody could identify what it was. Luckily nobody was hurt.
The so called manager came over and were really arrogant and did not even try to help pick up the pieces of glass or offer some apology. Almost felt accused that we just broke the glass. The camera confirmed 'something' fell from the roof.
Just after this, one of our two waiters handed in his apron and quit. I.must say the only one that impressed me was the remaining waiter. He did his best to try and make the best of the terrible situation.
When handed the bill, not the manager or the hostess offered an apology.
The location itself has great potential. If competent management is installed that understands service and people and have pride in what they do, this place could be the top spot in Langebaan. Until such time, I will give it a skip.

The venue and service I will give a five star. My fish burger was disappointing, the fish was raw, pink and the texture was rubbery. The chips looked and tasted as if they were cooked in old oil. They tried to ammend but unfortunately I had lost my appetite.

Good spot if you want to enjoy views of the beach. The menu is extensive and we ordered the tapas sized calamari, prawns and squid heads. The food was average but the service was fast. The restaurant is popular since it was full by lunch time. I had one rather expensive cocktail. It seemed overpriced but it was strong and tasted good. I will give this restaurant 3.5 and will give it another try next time we visit Langebaan.

Waited 1.5 hours for food to arrive. One of the dishes did not show up. Turned into an argument with the waiter that insisted he brought it to our table. In the end another waiter showed him that he left the dish in the kitchen. Place is dirty. Both urinals out of order.

The food is always top notch, the kitchen staff keeps it consistent, but the bar service and staff gives you a blue ribbon experience.. we love great cocktails and Rocxi Beach has them all..The Paloma is definitely a hit with the ladies, and the tequila is actually served ice cold!
It's definitely going to be a big summer if this was a taste of an experience at Rocxi Beach..
Big shoutout to Gaga and the bar staff for always keeping it on point for the best drinks in town, for the waiter staff that's always willing to assist and definitely big ups to Marco, Yonda, Bea and the whole management staff for making every visit a memorable one..
