We had lunch here. It’s a busy resturant due to the location - right on the beach. The staff were helpful and accommodating trying to get all patrons to have a sea view. I had a delicious salad. It’s a casual resturant with a good...menu.More
Pearly's is popular for a good reason. Both locals and visitors frequent this restaurant, not only because of its location but surely also because of the very good food. Great ambiance too. Watch the sun set over the bay while sipping on a local wine.
We arrived without a reservation on the evening of the public holiday, on the recommendation of our hotel, as their fine dining restaurant was closed. As the evening was chilly, we asked for an inside table. Many diners were arriving but our hostess did ourCovid...screening and quickly ushered us to a banquette with a lagoon and sunset view. At any other time, views across the lagoon from the deck seating are wonderful. Their menu is extensive covering pizzas, salads, grills and seafood options. I had wanted to taste Saldhana oysters and mussels so was delighted they were on offer. Service was prompt and excellent. Our mussels pomodoro were most enjoyable. We shared a bottle of Swartland area Rosé wine. Our bill was excellent value for money and we would visit Pearly’s againMore

My spouse and I visited for dinner on a Monday evening. She had the calamari strips with salad and I had the prawn paella. The calamari was good, but the salad was made with wilted lettuce leaves. The prawn paella was a big let down,...both on taste and content.
On the positive side the service was good and the setting is very nice.
We found better places to eat in the vicinity.More
