We had linch at Husky’s. A reasonable meal and good service. Only issue, the burger is charged at a premium price, but is pretty ordinary.

We found ourselves in Langebaan after a morning out from Cape Town. The restaurant looked inviting and the waitress was friendly and accommodating of the fact that we had our dog with us. We were seated and all looked ok. Our son was starving and...we ordered his burger. It was quite heavily priced at R100 but not the end of the world. Our drinks arrived and all was fine. My wife and I ordered a few minutes later. Really simple food. Chicken strips and Prawn Popper Baskets. After an hour of waiting, I asked our waitress how long it was still going to be. She said our food was on its way. After a further 15 min, I went inside and asked again. I was told that it was now on the table. I asked how long for the other two items. I was told they were on the way too. I went back outside and the burger that was there was less than average. The chips in the basket were pathetic but our son was so hungry by now, we did not have the energy to complain again. After a further 10 min I went inside again and after asking where our food was, I was told by the Chef, "another 5 to 10 min". At this point I cancelled our orders and asked for the bill. The restaurant was very quiet and we have no idea what the problem was. Not once, even after me going inside and speaking to someone behind the bar[a lady] dit anyone even bother to come and speak to us. Terrible experience which ruined our otherwize awesome dayMore

We were excited to go have a drink at Husky's, it looked like it had a fun atmosphere, but when we went inside to the bar to order a drink the barman looked like he did NOT want to be there. There was another lady...behind the bar, she was obviously busy with another order, but we still had to stand there and wait for this guy to serve us. There was maybe four people in total inside the bar area. He did eventually serve us, but he was very curtly.More

I spend alot of time at this place. I am always happy with the staff and the food and the drinks. Once I pull into the parking space and any of the barmen sees me parking, I know my drink will be ready when I...walk in, with an ice cold Jagermeister standing next to it. I just love this place!More

First I must point out this is ostensibly a sports type bar, the food and service is quite good and very reasonably priced. However if you dont like noise and secondhand smoke avoid it when there is a big game on. If you are a...sports fan then this will no doubt work for you. I wont go back it is not bad just not my personal scene.More

It took over 1hr to get soggy fries and a toasty stuffed with gross sweet mayo and some chicken trimmings. Don’t do it.

There are better views in the area but Huskies is close enough to the water to still have a great atmosphere. Friendly service and tables on the pavement make for a lovely sunshine breakfast and the breakfasts are excellent value for money, they make an...awesome omeletMore

Excellent service, enjoyable atmosphere, reasonable prices. Love the 3 Litre Beer on tap. Nice alternative to the ocean view restaurants.
