We went for dinner last night, more than 30 plus people. Wonderful atmosphere, my food was great, one of the ladies at my table ordered pizza it was terrible and not even good to look at, she send it back, it returned the exact same...way, very skimpy, barely dressed, you had to look for the chicken and cheese on it, almost no cheese. The waiter called the manager, he had a arrogant attitude and was not helpful at all. Told us that’s the way the pizza is and that’s it, if we want more cheese it would be at a extra cost. It was her birthday! I just thought he could not see the bigger picture at all! More than 30 of us eating and drinking and he was complaining about a extra portion of cheese but there was barely no cheese on the pizza, not taking a group of 30 plus eating and ordering expensive meals in consideration?! That’s called penny wise, pound foolish. She had to pay for something she didn’t eat or enjoy. I would refuse to say the least! The waiter was very nice and understanding but could not do much. They should educate their manager a little better to work with people and to use his discretion in certain situations to know when to give a little and when to just take! Life doesn’t work the way he operates, not in business. Not sure I will be back there just because of his arrogant behavior. That spoiled the evening for me, knowing she ordered the same thing twice and it was wrong two times! He didn’t try to be nice he just had a very adamant take it or leave it attitude. That’s not acceptable, left a bitter taste in my mouth.More

This restaurant sits atop a new building adjacent to the Eastgate Mall, and near a number of business hotels, apartment complexes and Air B&B's. The ambience is an interesting mix of trendy Johannesburg, with a higher end cocktail bar/pub feel. There is an outdoor section...that is not really outdoors as it is covered with canvas, but there are gaps in the windows that give you plenty of fresh air so it's more like a tented feel. The inner section has a proper bar with high chairs and a number of tables. You can see the action in the kitchen from the main dining area. The food is excellent and diverse, leaning towards Italian but with an eclectic mix of steaks, fish, and salads to go with the antipasta selections and normal pastas and pizzas. Service was excellent when we were there. The place seats about 180 and a new restaurant is being built by the same owners next to it. There are happy evening specials so check with your waitron. There are terrific views of the Bedfordview area along the east side, but there are windows all around. Prices are very good for the level of food served and drink prices were very much on the cheaper side of upmarket Joburg places, which this is certainly aspiring to. At this level of venue, one of the better options in the greater Bedfordview area. Little touches include brining a glass of ice with wine without asking (which impressed my daughter). All in all, a great newer restaurant in this part of Johannesburg, great for business, entertainment or just having a drink after work.More

Went out for a girls night and we had a great time at 11th Floor. Waitresses were lovely, venue is stunning and food was great. Definitely recommend this restaurant

My partner and I are visiting family in Johannesburg, who strongly recommended the 11th floor for the atmosphere, quality and view. We called ahead and booked a table on the rooftop and had breakfast with the most breathtaking view of the city skyline and sunrise....We will visit again for a sunset meal soon.More

My first experience of The 11th Floor was fantastic, I have since been back for their pizza offering and the overall vibe was memorable with a view to match.
