We stopped by High Tide for lunch having just visited nearby Bird Island. We took a seat on the patio and were promptly greeted and offered menus. We wanted something which wasn't quite on the menu (a combination of two different dishes) but that was...no problem at all. Staff were very friendly and flexible, food was really tasty (calamari and fish), the portions huge and the restuarant lovely (it would be nice and cosy in winter I am sure). A very pleasant experienceMore

Delicious blue cheese pear with balsamico salad, fresh crayfish and freshly made merengue for desert. A lovely dinner with good wine, friendly and helpful service and in a nice setting of a historic building. We’ll come again.

Fresh seafood, quick and friendly service. Everything was delicious, we especially enjoyed the steamers and bacon wrapped scallops appetizers but everything was very good.

The interior makes one feel at home. It is clean, professionally furnished, all working. We visited other restaurants in Lamberts Bay and cannot say the same of them. Extensive menu with flexibility, excellent food, well trained and friendly staff. Compliments to the chef. Location also...good, whether on summer or winter days.More

I had the best fish and chips in along time. The local fish, Hottentots fish, and chips was lovely prepared and served. The fish was super fresh, it still tasted like the sea. I will definitely recommend this restuarant.

We started off at Isabella's and after a really bad starter we moved onto High Tide for a main meal. What an amazing experience. We tried the bobotie samoosas with a superb homemade chutney. Shared the seafood platter for 2 - the most amazing serving...of paella, calamari, prawns, line fish and catch of the day. Each cooked to perfection. The Paella was to die for and next time I will just have it. Service was efficient and friendly.More

Had a wine tasting opportunity at this historic building before dining on delicious mussel soup and rock lobster. Many seafood dishes available; friendly and catering staff made it a wonderful evening!

We dropped by for lunh and thoroughly enjoyed the street view. People walking to the bird island, other restaurants and simply enjoying themselves. The mussels and local wine was great.

What a disappointment! The chips were oven chips, the calamari had no taste and the queen prawns were tasteless. The rice had no salt or taste. I feel ripped off

We settled on the famous West Coast crayfish which we thoroughly enjoyed. They were somewhat small but very tasty and the price did not break the bank. The facilities were clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. We would certainly go back to try...their other offerings.More

Had a fabulous dinner! Tasty calamari starter, yellowtail and local line fish for mains with a delightful chocolate mousse to round the evening. All dishes were well presented, with subtle touches of garnish for visual appeal. Local hotnots-fish was the star attraction. Mains was enjoyed...with local wooded Chenin Blanc, and not very expensive! Waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend!!More

We loved the delicious seafood which we ate at this delightful restaurant. It was fresh and hot, and cooked to perfection. Really tasty and yummy! Unfortunately the restaurant was very empty and we hope that when the weather picks up, more people will enjoy this...lovely restaurant.More
