We travel frequently from Bergen to Haugastøl and Eidfjord is just about mid-way. This time we stopped for something other than a hot dog and were pleasantly rewarded. There is ample parking in the vicinity and clean tables where you can pause to eat your meal if you prefer not to stand or sit in your car. We both ordered the pork wok - one with rice and one with noodles - and both options were both tasty and satisfying. We plan to make this stop a regular part of our trip in the future.

We had lunch here on our way back to Bergen after visiting the Voringfossen. Being vegetarians, we requested a meat less version of one of their most popular lunch items and also asked them to make it spicy...
The food was very good and the weather and location made the whole experience worthwhile !
Recommended for Thai food.....

My husband and I went camping on Hardangervidda and stopped here on our way up. The food was super good, and the employee working there was very friendly. We had to go back down the plateau to eat there again the next day. 10/10 recommend if you’re bored with boiled potatoes and fish.

It is seldom I give a bad rating, but the pad thai scampi i ordered was not good, and did not taste remotely of anthing like a pad thai. No herbs, some shredded carrots instead of the normal bean sprouts that accomponies with most pad thai, and most importantly, the taste reminded nothing of a pad thai. Too sweet, no taste of tamarind or fish sauce. Maybe i got this on a bad day, but better not to serve a dish that doesn't deserve to be served.

Quite possibly the best place to stop for families along Rv7. I have been here several times and the food is always good, quick and affordable. Ask for Thai spicy if you prefer more authentic spicy taste as they have adjusted nicely to (Norwegian) families.

Came here for take away.
The owner is handling the orders and that with a charming way not many manage.
I am not a spicy eater and the owner took all my requests, which a smile.
The Thai girls are fabulous when it comes to the cooking.
I have been to Thailand some years ago and must say, the taste is authentic, but with the European and Norwegian taste in mind.
Really enjoyed the food and must recommend that place to everyone visiting and/or going through Eidfjord.
Hand sanitizer on display and cash-free payment - perfect during Covid.

We are Argentines. We were a little bored with the food in Norwegian restaurants and decided to try, although we avoided eating at truckfoods. We were surprised by the quality of the food, cleanliness and careful attention.

Chicken was undercooked, rice luke warm and ver little salad. Complained about the chicken, got same plate back and the chicken abit more cooked. Nasty.. Overpriced!

It was a nice surprise to see a thai restaurant in the middle of Norway. As an Asian, I miss this kind of food and a break from hotdogs, sandwiches, and burgers around Norway. We ordered pad thai and fried rice and it was a bad surprise. Pad thai lack the authentic taste considering thai crew cooked the meal, fried rice is tasteless too. We are also disappointed with the price, we know Norway is expensive country but quality of this food doesnt match the price.
