The service was so-so. After delivery of the cooldrink and meal, I received no further service, until going to the counter to pay. The meal, a ciabatta with beef, tasted alright, because of a tasty sauce. But almost half the beef strips were inedibly tough, and there was nothing else but a few green leaves. The next-day's visit to another restaurant in the area reminded me how much better service and food could be.

This restaurant is part of the Cayley Lodge Resort. It's typical pub food, Pizza, Pasta, Steak etc. No wine list but wines available. Wine by the glass is ordinary boxed wine. My stuffed trout was the only "different" item on the menu. Par for the course.

We stayed at Cayley Lodge and had the BEST pizza at The Bell and Whistle.
The Atmosphere is warm and inviting, we loved sitting on the balcony with a bottle of wine enjoying the STUNNING views
