Fairly typical waterside restaurant at Fiskado. Extensive menu with plenty of seafood meals. Quite large wine menu with some very expensive bottles. Overall our group of 8 enjoyed their meals, especially the lamb chops. I had the fresh tuna linguine and whilst it was ok,...it wasn’t as good as it sounded. Having said that the quality of meals were excellent. The service was good and attentive. As with most waterside places, meals come out very quickly so if you wish to enjoy a drink, hold off on the order . The spinach pies as an entree were big (3) and delicious. The meal was finished with complimentary fortified wines and a small desert which was appreciated. Summary….a nice place to eat.More

We ate at Tassias on what transpired was the last night of the season. We were moored about 10 feet from our table. The food at Tassia is predominantly fish, with meat options available. We had Yassia prawns as a starter, large juicy prawns in...a spicy tomato and feta sauce, delicious. We followed with sea bass served with beautifully cooked local vegetables and a large squid grilled to perfection. Although it has been a long season the staff were unfailingly cheerful and gave the impression nothing was too much trouble. Probably not the cheapest meal available in Fiskardo but extremely good value. We also enjoyed the free yoghurt with candied orange which we were offered without asking. A great meal and we hope they enjoy the downtime. We’ll. e back!More

Ambience by the water's edge is notable; service is professional and slick. The menu retains several memorable features - sea bass, pork with prunes - and great starters.

More expensive than most places but always full. Fish always fresh Had three great meals with excellent service. Our fourth night ruined it. There were a few yachts with ‘influencers’ and sadly our table was in a different area; the ‘seaside’. The chief waiter in...that area, a youngster as opposed to the older respectable ones serving us before, could not be bothered with anyone but the semi naked fake tan celebrities. We had to ask for everything twice even the bill. They lost a customer, our fourth night (always eating big grouper fish with decent bills) was the last one there. Lesson: unless you have more money than brains choose another restaurant; or go when it is not busy and look for areas with older waiters who might be more professional than the youngster with the tatoo.More

Tassia sits in a very charming corner of Fiscardo’s port, with great view of the small bay and romantic vibe. The service could be better, starting by a grumpy hostess taking reservations and not so helpful waiters (we asked about the dish size and we...got a shrug and a “normal” as response.. we also had to chase to get served). Food is average for the price - even the lobster linguine wasn’t that tasty and not enough lobster for a €58 dish (we also felt it lacked better dish presentation). The wine list and the atmosphere are the highlights, with a great selection of Assyrtiko wines. There’re a lot of options around Fiscardo, so take your time to pick the right one.More

It’s 16 years since we were last at this restaurant and in many ways it hasn’t changed. We were staying longer in Fiscardo this time so we’re able to eat here on 3 evenings. I can see why some reviews rave about the place and...others are critical. With such a good reputation it is one of those places which can easily fail to meet expectations. On our first night I would have said we had a poor meal but the 2nd and third were much better. The key seems to be “playing the menu”. The fish with veg NEEDS a side of fries, the scampi is better as a main than a starter. The crab salad is a fantastic starter and the pinsa bread is awesome. Eat slowly, do a bit of people watching and enjoyMore

The setting is amazing! I expected good things after reading lots about this restaurant. The food was very very average - I was shocked that they manage to maintain such a good reputation. I had sea bass which wasn’t seasoned well and the side of...‘boiled veg’ was appalling! Literally the worst side I’ve ever had in a restaurant. An overboiled half carrot, bit of a courgette and some spinach. No seasoning - no taste. Zero effort to add any kind of sauce or flavour.More

Great Restaurant, staff were very friendly. The best wine list of all the places we ate. Food was exceptional, the prawns for starter were fantastic. The people moaning about the view…… you’re in a harbour & the boats were there before you. If you don’t...like boats, sit somewhere else. 10/10More

Food was ordinary comparing price…Service were OK but view were so bad. Despite location at seaside, catamaran and cruise ships were anchored in two meeter away and had to watch their clothes hanged outside the ship.. Price vs Quality were below than expectation.

This restaurant is lovely for a quiet evening meal, situated at the waters edge, the food is very high quality and the service immaculate. The restaurant is tied to the Almyra hotel and offer a discount to guests which is an added bonus. Highly recommended,...especially for fish meals.More

It wasn’t until we were sat in the restaurant that I had a cursory glance at trip advisor, I was rather perturbed at the recent negative comments but as we were there I felt this was going to be a “fait a complis”. How wrong...could I be! From start to finish the service was polite and friendly, as for the food, I can only say it was the best meal we all (6 of us) have had in a considerable time. Prawns were remarkable, mussels in a wonderful sauce. Those who had various pastas all said how delicious they were. I had a medallion of pork kebab with bacon wrapped dates, it was magnificent, I’m not sure I’ve ever had pork cooked so well, tender and not even slightly dry. I know this is a touch lengthy but it saddens me to see negative reviews where not necessary, we all have off days and I’m sorry for those who experienced that but I think people who are so vociferous with their comments should understand the potential damage they can cause. Had I read them prior to going to the restaurant we would have missed out on an exceptional evening.More
