Best seafood in Diani. Just call them and book a table day before because chef buys all the seafood from local fisherman in every morning. Highly recomsnded! 🦑🦐🦞🦀🐟

We didn't know that we had to call ahead of time but not to tell your patrons that they will have to wait for 1.5 hours is beyond comprehension. There is nothing there to do..there is no ocean view ..just a road with cars. So...we sat..and sat ...and sat. Then a couple came and was immediately served . I told my husband that another 10 minutes and I am leaving . Then chef himself.brought a plate with dried up calamari rings and not chewable octopus. Fries were dried up and cold. It felt like we eating someone's leftovers . My husband ordered fish and it was so tiny . I am.not sure why other reviews say it's a good value. May be they compare it to Europian or American prices but if that the case the whole Kenya is a good value then. My calamari were 8$ and that tiny fish was 5$ . There are plenty of restaurants with same prices and even cheaper where you don't have to have such long wait and quality of food and cleanliness level is much higher.More

Echoing all the great reviews here, Sir William's place is lovely and he cooks fresh seafood brilliantly. Call in advance (morning or day before if you can) and get whatever is in season. He will make sure you are well fed. For two of us...we got a whole snapper, three lobster and a plate of octopus with salad and coconut rice. Even a fruit platter for after. All of that with drinks for a very very reasonable 3,000 Ksh. COVID-19 has absolutely nailed Diani and the people whose livelihoods rely on tourism so if you can, avoid the big resorts and instead keep your money local. I also doubt any of those chefs can cook as well as Sir WilliamMore

My friend and I were terribly craving seafood and so I hopped on TripAdvisor and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Sir William's had moved to about 800metres from where I was staying and from the reviews I knew I had to try...him the same day. I called him off his number I got here and made and order for the seafood platter for two and let me tell you friends. Friends. FRIENDS. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! The ambience, the courtesy and swift service, the PORTIONS,the flavor. Everything was excellent. For 2500/- (about $25), we had a platter with lobster, octopus, calamari, snapper, quite a sizeable portion of prawns and two sides: white rice with a delicious sauce and fries. We ordered drinks that came cold just how I had hoped. Two 500 ml ciders set us back 500/- ($5) which was such a steal because it's quite close to the RRP. We even had a toast with Sir William himself, who actually does the cooking. Please note that you are actually required to call ahead of time since the seafood is freshly caught beforehand so that needs a bit of time. 🙂 The food ✔️ Ambience ✔️ Location ✔️ Drinks ✔️ A doggo you can pet ✔️✔️ Value for money ✔️✔️ Stories with William ✔️✔️✔️ I cannot recommend this place enough. Please consider supporting small businesses and let William feed you 🤤💕More

Loved going here as an adventure! It is a humble road-side place. William comes out and greets you. When we went for lunch no one was there..... but in a flash the community brought cold beer, hot coals to start the fire, a jug of...clean water and William rode off on a bike to get the fresh morning catch! It was totally awesome to have fish, prawns and octopus that was swimming an hour before while the constant smiling William along with his wife and son talked to us. I now have it on my regular spots to visit whenever I go to Diani..... but if you are the type that stays inside the resort and needs the crisp linens - this isn’t for you.... Sir Williams is a laid back hang out with awesome, delightful locals and yummy seafood.More

William used to be by the sea. now the new place by the road is smaller , simple but William is friendly, attentive and know how to satisfy clients. The Covid19 has hit his business, but when my friend and i came he grilled fresh...seafood ( lobster, octopus, squid, fish with coconut rice, salad, crisps) at a very affordable price. I will encourage people to pay him a visit cause it worths it.More

We went there for dinner after reading the reviews. First of all, the place has nothing to do with the pictures. It looks like they "relocated"! We were the only customers and the waiter was wasted. He kept talking about how he only drinks Vodka...and we should celebrate his birthday with him!! The place was filthy and full of bugs (roaches, beetles and co). AVOID!More
