We had a family lunch here. Nice view from the verandah. Standard menu. Food was good, generous servings, charming and attentive staff. I would go there again.

Had some nice pancakes for breakfast on our way from Clarens to the Golden Gate National Park. Enjoyed the setting and service was good.

Always a lovely stop to Golden Gate. We love everything on the menu. The pancakes always a winner on rainy days. We always enjoy the stopover.

We stayed in Clarens for a long weekend and decided to drive out to Sugar and Cinnamon for a leisurely brunch. We were three couples and all agreed that it was a wonderful experience. The food was very good as was the service. Most definitely...worth a visit!More

On our way home on Monday we resided to stop here For breakfast the gate was opened and we parked in the parking In front of the restaurant went in ordered our coffees and busy order your breakfast when Mr Retief arrived and informed us...to move our cars off the paving please so we got up and went to park it next to the paving on the grass. That is when Retief started shouting and swearing that we must move our cars to the other side of the main road so I said we’re nearly done our car is loaded and there is no security it was cold windy quite a distance he the said F Off just F off back to Joburg WE don’t need you Joburgers here Just F Off you people from Joburg can just FOff so JOBURGERS Stay AWAY From HERE they don’t NEED OUR visits to themMore

Hi Ada, The parking area of the establishment was under construction and You and your companions were asked in a very calm professional manner to move your vehicles to a specified parking area but unfortunately the two vehicles were moved to an alternative area also...More

Popped in for breakfast on a chilly morning, fire was going, warm welcome and prompt service. Nice variety and their curio shop is well worth a visit. Well worth a stop if your visiting Clarens or the Golden Gate National Park

We had a lovely meal. The home made beef burger was the best I've had in a while. The service was also exceptional, fast and friendly. I highly recommend it.

A lovely place for a lunch. Great service, no waiting - the waitresses were there when you sat down. A lovely gesture of a complimentary sherry which went down well with the chilly weather. Food was tasty and ample helpings.

Thank you for making it possible to end a very cold and wet weekend on a warm note. Great coffee, and had some of the best eggs Benedict I’ve had in a while! Location - just perfect! Stunning view, peaceful and quiet.

A secret little spot on the way to Golden Gatw national park. Close to clarens main town. The food was just so good. The pancakes, main meals and savoury was excellent. Best white chocolate I had ever. Will be back soon

quaint little restaurant, a short drive from Clarens. Decent view from their large deck. Had the pancakes and they were delicious. Service was warm and friendly. A lovely spot for coffee and a snack like cake or pancakes.
