Coffee shop has had a refurbish since our last visit earlier in the year and now has an excellent gift shop inside and in a building nearby. Good coffee and free WiFi - a boon when travelling. Good choice of food but no scones or other baked items available when we visited. We bought a pack of shortbread in the shop in the end and that was delicious so all was well! Self service drinking water is a pleasant facility. We’ll be back!

Stopped for a light lunch before leaving town. A delicious toasted sandwich is R30, so real value for money! Pretty outside area with a jungle gym for children and view of the mountain. Lovely children's and women's clothing available at the small Anecdote shop on the property.

A full bodum of Masterton's coffee and a generous portion of apple cake was our introduction to what is available on the culinary scene in Somerset East. Although it proved to be a mission to get anyone to take our order as we had already made a decision to leave when they woke up to the fact that they were about to lose their only other clients! Apart from the initial hiccough, we enjoyed our coffee break and loved the ambience of the place. A play area alongside the shaded outdoor seating made it easy for parents of young children to keep a watchful eye on them. All in all, a good venue for a café! Oh yes, free wifi, with good strong signals was an added bonus!
