Great amazing food! Chef was friendly, place was so tranquil. A hidden gem. The coconut bread and sirloin burger were excellent.

Looking for somewhere to eat en route between Cape Town and the Cederberg when we initially pulled in we were unsure what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised - the food was delicious - thank you.

We had an evening meal at Hebron and joined them for their Wednesday night special and we weren't disappointed. Service from the owners was charming and professional and the food fabulous. Sitting on their stoep enjoying the atmosphere and homeliness of the venue was great - and they willingly accommodated our Ridgeback dog to join us for the evening. Highly... More

I stopped here for a snack and a drink, and it was very pleasant indeed. Good food and service in nice surroundings...I left feeling better and ready to continue my journey.

Spur of the moment wine tasting that was very enjoyable and interesting. Pity we missed out on booking for the tea pairing, which we will have to do when we come through again

Doesn't seem like much when you arrive, it was super hot and asked for the coolest spot. They put the aircon on and that was a big improvement. Very relaxed atmosphere and a one page menu. I had the pork belly and loved it , my husband had the club sandwich which was great, the crumbed trout and chips for... More

We were four for the special Wed night dinner which requires reservations. We waited 40" to have our orders taken. Two of us had the chicken and two had the pork belly with two appetizers. The chicken was tough and over cooked, the pork belly not memorable. It is a gorgeous setting but otherwise not memorable.

Apologies that you left dissatisfied. Our Wednesday dinners start from 7pm. This was conveyed to your guesthouse owner when she made the booking for you. I explained to her that you could arrive earlier and enjoy the views and garden until service began. You arrived at 6.25pm and we endeavoured to accommodate this but the kitchen was still busy with... More

Not just the average 'Padstal'. Driving into Hebron you think it is just another 'padstal' until you are greeted by very friendly staff and immediately making you feel at home. It was a sweltering hot day and we made ourselves comfortable at the pool area, lounging on the pool chairs beneath the shade. The homemade Rooibos Ice Tea is so... More

We stopped on our way back from the Sevilla rock art trail to taste the local Piekenierskloof wine at the wine tasting shop which I can highly recommend. A quick lunch of some unusual combinations of ingredients on "sandwiches" was excellent. Fennel chutney mmm delicious and washed down with refreshing rooibos iced tea.
