I was there for a conference after Lockdown had eased, and although we ate (too much!) food during the day, dinner in the restaurant was, for me, one of he best meals I have eaten in a long, long time! The Chef prepared beef fillet,...which was so juicy (medium rare), tender and so tasty that I ate far more than I comfortably should have! The vegetables were fresh, crisp and cooked to perfection! Service was brilliant throughout our conference, and in the restaurant was no different - really great. I would stop off and eat there anytime I am passing by, or if I am fortunate enough to stay over.More

While the service was absolutely excellent and the staff super friendly and efficient the food was a real let down. The ambience and decor is beautiful. Drinks was awesome! The sauces where commercial (one would expect a fancy place like this to make their own...sauces). The Lamb pita came with a factory made commercial patty, and the snitchel was also a 'box' snitchel. The food was ok but it was a solid average.... Hebron just across the road has excellent food, I would rather suggest you eat there if you are a foodie.More

family mini break, stayed in a 3 bedroom chalet, it was absolutely spotless. Lovely rustic warm feel. Aircon for hot days wall heaters and a cosy fireplace. The food was average tasty and enough options for the kids. The lady at reception was knowledgeable and...welcoming. overall service is excellent. they serviced the room efficiently and provided more than enough amenities. Amazing views beautiful rocky hiking trails and plenty of birds. the indoor pool area is well maintained and clean. beautiful outdoor cold pool plenty of lawn and the kids loved the play areas and trampolines. will definitely return.More

I had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast was great, a good cold and warm selection to choose from. Added was cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurt, various nuts, fresh breads and croissants, muffins, cereals, fruit juice, freshly made coffee, etc . The waiters were very...friendly, quick and efficient. service was good. The dinner however made me very unhappy. I arrived for dinner at 6.55 pm. I was taken to a table, the evening was warm so I opted to eat on the outside balcony, with the stunning views and a great ambience. You could choose to sit inside or out. I was brought a menu. And the waiters were running to and fro, and I was told every time, " someone will be with you now". My order was finally taken at 7.30pm. My drink was brought to me immediately. My order only arrived at 08.10. I ordered a prawn curry, which tasted good but also left me with an upset digestive system the whole night. Only 5 tables were occupied by other restaurant goers, so I cannot understand why it took so long to get to me. I did receive a verbal apology from the one waiter, but it didn't take my unhappiness away. To wait an hour for your order to be taken is unacceptable. Definitely more waiters need to be employed to deal with the numbers of restaurant goers. And to be trained properly to this effect.More

Food was really well priced and epic view. Food a solid 7/10 and great service, extensive drinks list (wine, etc). Highly recommend the Piekenierskloof wine tasting opposite the road - incredible wines!

We had a lovely time. The staff was very friendly. The rest rooms were clean. The food was very good. We were a group of 10 people, grandparents and two families with two teenagers and two todlers. They have a kiddies menu, decent high chairs.

Really nice view and really surprising great food. The best fish I had the entire trip. Well worth a stop, a little pricey but I think a once in a while is OK.

We found their menu excellent. Shared mixed basket and what a nice surprise. It was extremely affordable for such a smart venue. We enjoyed the friendly hospitality of the staff. This is a place that I will definitely visit again.
