Cozy African restaurant in the heart of Obs. Great atmosphere and a cool vibe. I would highly recommend the lamb burger! When you are in Cape town this is definitely a place you should check out!

After a fun filled day in Cape Town, grumbling tummy, what a discovery I made.Entering the the non-smoking eating area, all of my senses was stimulated on first entry. Brilliant atmosphere, wonderful menu that caters for both vegetarians and meat lovers, great decor and wonderful prices. I had the vegetarian roti. Ahhh bliss. loved this place

This is a fantastic little place, heaving with atmosphere, energy and a cool vibe. The food was excellent: a fusion of traditional Cape Malay food with more modern twists. I would highly recommend eating here, it was probably our least expensive meal but one of the best!!

This is totally off the beaten, touristy path. You would probably not even dare to push the door and get in. But this is such an authentic local restaurant, with locals and international students as customers. The Kitchen is next to the tables in the back room and everything is cooked before your eyes. The food tastes great and most... More

Very cosy restaurant and bar with a nice welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good, and it was quite reasonably priced.

A chance to sample some traditional fair, with the odd out there dish and the bog standard all in one place. Given how delicious the melanzane and lemon meringue was I will be back for the umngqusho, a meal I have not had since my teens. Laid back service, friendly environment. Worth the visit.

This place has a great atmosphere if you are looking for a place that is laid back, fun, inexpensive, and full of young people. Excellent beer, wine, and food. I absolutely love the Veg&Pap! Don't come here if you are in a hurry. The upstairs area is very chill.

This seemed like a young crowd hang out kind of place. We took our son, ( age 22) and his friends here to have drinks and dinner for 10 of us. We got a table right away. Service seemed a bit slow but we did come to realize that dining is a slower pace in South Africa. People take their... More

Took a ride out of the Northern Suburbs, into the City. Didn't know what to eat, McDonalds was an option... Just having a walk down Lower Main, whan I saw the spot! I'm proudly South African, and that was surely a proudly South African spot. Priced great, great vibe! And even better food! Good wine and good times! Plenty of... More
