The waiters are nice and fast. The food was very tasty and the portions are big. We wil definitely come back for an other meal.

I went to Cafe Ganesh with my wife and two friends after reading rave reviews on 'The Culinary Backstreet'. On entering, we had no one to meet us at the door and were left standing around (even though we did book a table). After finally finding an empty table, we proceeded to wait 30 minutes before we got service. Understandably... More

Great local hangout in Woodstock!! Pretty hard to find as the first one you see is "cafe Ganesh" daytime restaurant in the corner of the building. You have to walk to the back and ring a door bell that does not really work... But definitely worth the effort!!! We will be back

This is my favorite restaurant in Observatory. Every single dish there is delicious and the interior is unique.

I'm so happy I ate here and think it's a must for every visitor to Cape Town. The food is reasonably priced (R60-90 for a main), absolutely delicious and ended up being big enough to take home for lunch the next day too. The restaurant itself it unique with a great atmosphere and genuinely friendly service. The music was a... More

Goan snacks and breakfsat items are tasty and have the authentic goa taste. Samosas are good too. I usually bring takeout of Suki Bhaji Pav with a few Samosas

Of all the nice places in Obs, this one is my absolute favourite! The have the best Boboti in town and the vibe of the place is just amazing. And don't forget the lemon meringue as a dessert! Just jummy.

I have been popping in to Ganesh for twenty years now, and whenever I remember to take a visitor there we have such a good time. It is genuinely local, pretty comfortably grungy, and yet, it is still possible to get a totally delicious and very cheap and also vegetarian meal. Try their pap and veggies for healthy, tasty and...
