One of the better Spurs in South Africa. Nice venue and location. Very large portions, good service, good quality. Nice family venue. Really nothing to complain about at all, casual family dining at it's best.

Might be a Franchise, but Spur Golden Bay always deliver their best. Consistent service, quality and a overall good experience. Keep up the good work Team. Good management, attentive staff. Awesome views from the closed deck portion. Brilliant sunsets.

Decided to do wait for a colleague & breakfast here. Excellent value for money breakfast. Fast friendly 11am service...and 2hrs later colleague joined and had a light lunch...nobody rushed me, never felt i was in the way and felt it was a good venue to nibble,sip coffee and look out over Table Bay.

We visit South Africa every year for six weeks & have done so for the last 25 & for reasons not known to either of us on our visit this year we discovered Spur restaurants. We both ordered a 200 gram fillet steak and we both agreed that this was the finest fillet we have ever tasted & the value for money was quite unbelievable. The staff are very friendly & efficient Needless to say we shall visiting Spur restaurants many, many times in the future.

Sunday night, we are regular customer, bo more to any Spur!!
Ordered 3 Spare Ribs take away with specific requirements.
Paid went home, to my sickening surprise and disappointed family, the ribs was extremely fatty and undercooked, I returned it immediately and after nothing said by the manager on Duty Brian, he just returned my money.
I feel sick to think that I ever supported Spur, but this is the last and I will make a point to warn in future any of my international guest about dining there or any other Spur, it's a waste of time, money and petroleum.
With no regard or respect to regular customers.

Was there half and hour ago.I ordered the Full portion of spicy baffalo wings.My favourite dish the only dish I order at spur. It must be the worse baffalo wings I had. Guys I know it's tuff times but you are robbing us. Hardly any sauce, very little chips. Smallest wings. Your branch will definitely not see me again.

We waited for long before anyone attend to us we had to go and ask if anyone was going to help us at some point i thought there are not coming to us because we are black people.Every thing was so slow and i also got cold ribs

After being away from South Africa for so many years my partner and I returned on holiday. Both originally from South Africa. One of the exciting things was to enjoy a Spur! Once there the atmosphere was non existent and service mediocre. Food was ordered and when it arrived was just like any other chains food. The Ribs were fatty and full of gristle. Which made it virtually inedible. The burger was just like any other. When we voiced our opinion on the food nothing was done about. And the bill was given to us. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. They do not deserve the support of people like us that pay good hard earned money for unacceptable service or food when on holiday in the Cape from the UK. Never again!

Spurs are pretty much the same wherever you go, but this one has the biggest indoor play area I have seen anywhere. Plenty of seating around the play area for parents who like to keep an eye on the kids and tap on the window when the food arrives.

We were in the mood to enjoy a meal we know will be great quality & portion. Spur was our obvious chouce and we were not disappointed. Even 0% alcohol beer served! We enjoyed good service and food. A winner!

The views from the window seats are amazing. Three of us had steak dishes. All 3 were cooked to perfection. One had crumbed deep fried calamari which was equally good. Service was excellent. Prices getting expensive though....

I needed to charge my laptop and did not have the charger with me. The staff went above and beyond, trying several different solutions (asking other outlets in the same mall, even permitting me to ask another customer) --- so --- Spur always has great food. This has now become an expectation. they always have good service - however the Golden Bay Spur Steak Ranch went above and beyond in service. their staff, from several waitpersons to the manager - really cared. They actually wanted to help me in with a non-food related problem I had. I was sincerely touched.
