For sure one of the best meals that We had in our whole trip through South Africa. We arrived late (8:30pm) - they were about to close the restaurant - and attend us anyway. The service is spectacular, very kind people, and the dish was...absolutely fantastic. A sauce with a flavor that you will not forget (Veggie Shawarma - mushrooms). Extremely recommended.More

You find it hard to get a place that cook a T-bone steak , or calamari to perfection . This was handsdown the most spectacular lunches I had !!!! Well done guys amazing food and service !!!

Had lunch today. Burgers were very disappointing. The fries and patties are not bad but a store bought bun with bright yellow cheese sauce from a tin with a little iceberg lettuce leaf and literally half a slice of tomato is just not what I...expected. Really not what they used to be and not worth dining at anymore.More

Came here as it’s right across the street from The Wild Fig Tree as they are currently closed Wed/Thurs. The food here was surprisingly good, just make sure you sit away from the bar as they do smoke inside there - something we banned in...New York 20+ years ago.More

I visited this pub with my family on the 31 of July to have a drink and to watch the 2nd test between SA and the Lions and not the owners nor any of the staff serving the clients were wearing masks and had a...very aggressive attitude when they are asked why they dont wear masks i left after confronting them regarding this....interesting that they are the first one crying when goverment closes these establishments because they contribute to the spread of the disease ........establishment like this should never been allowed to even thinking of doing bbusiness during this time .......More

We really enjoyed eating here. My husband enjoyed his Hercules breakfast and I enjoyed the lamb shawarma. Meat was a bit tough, but very flavorful. Definitely a good portion and value for your buck. I will definitely go back for more comfort food.

Good value for money, large portions, very tasty. Not the best fries, a bit tasteless, dry with no crunch. Service was good. Good selection of beer and wine.Casino should not be right next to restaurant. Overall a great experience, we will be back.
